Justin Thyme is a beautiful Akita Husky looking for his forever home! He&#39s around 2yr old, and weighs 72lbs. He has a regal head and gorgeous eyes! Justin is professionally trained, has excellent leash manners, and knows all his basic commands. He comes with free lifetime training for his adoptive family! Justin is best described as a happy boy who loves to spend time with his people and play! He is fully house trained, and crate trained. He has a high energy level, and loves to play with his toys, go for walks, and would even be a good running/hiking buddy! Justin would do well in any home that will continue proving him the daily exercise and training he needs to be the great dog that he is! Although he hasn&#39t been formally dog tested, he seems to be dog friendly. He enjoys being by your side and is very loving. Justin is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting this deserving boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. Story
Hi there! I’m Athena, a lovable, goofy girl who’s ready for some fun adventures! I recently went on a walk with a super nice volunteer, and let me tell you, it was an amazing time. At first, I was a little energetic, but I settled down quickly and was eager to explore the world around me. My potty habits? Always outside, of course! Gotta keep it clean and proper. We decided to skip the car and take a nice walk through the streets of Atlanta instead. We headed down Marietta Rd, which turned out to be a lot noisier than I thought it would be. But that didn’t phase me one bit—I was curious, sniffing around, and totally soaking it all in. My leash manners were on point, and I was walking ahead of my volunteer with just a bit of pressure on the leash. And guess what? By the end of the walk, I was walking right at heel! Pretty impressive for an 80-pound girl like me, don’t you think?Along the way, I met some new people, and I couldn’t help but get all wiggly and excited. I love meeting new friends! I’ll wag my tail, approach them softly, and hope for some pets. Who doesn’t love a good scratch behind the ears, right? I didn’t meet any kids, cats, or other dogs on this adventure, but that’s okay—there’s always next time!I’ve got medium energy—enough to enjoy a nice walk or even a run if that’s what you’re into. I love to get outside and stretch my legs. I also have a thing for squirrels and birds—so if you’re ever out with me, you’ll want to keep an eye on me because I can be pretty quick if I spot one!I’m also a total toy lover. Give me a toy, and I’m in heaven, ready to play for hours! I might not always realize how big I am, though—I’ll try to curl up in your lap like a tiny dog. But I promise I’m worth the space! I know my basic manners and I’m eager to learn more. If you`re looking for a loving, joyful, and playful companion, I’d love to be your new best friend!

Zoomer is incredibly handsome and super smart. He's able to master new skills quickly and curious about the world around him. Zoomer LOVES car rides and walks. He's strong, so, he'd do best with a more active adopter who is looking for an adventure buddy. He would love to hike and camp and sit out under the stars. He would love road trips and roughing it in the great outdoors. He'd love having a backpack and a job. He would love being included and being talked to. He'd love to feel like he belongs. Zoomer's adoption fee has been paid for by his Secret Crush!

Hi, I’m Butter—a gorgeous, fluffy, 6-year-old guy with a bit of an independent streak. I might take a little time to warm up to new people, but once I’m outside, I’m full of confidence and love exploring the world around me. I don’t always seek out affection, but I’ll let you pet me when I’m feeling comfortable. I’m more about doing my own thing, and I’m happiest when I’m outside marking my territory and strutting my stuff with my tail held high. While I may not be big on treats or constant attention, I do enjoy some playful time in the yard and will show off my fun side when I’m ready. I don’t potty in my kennel, so I might already be housebroken, which is always a plus!If you’re looking for a laid-back, independent companion who enjoys his space but still has a playful side, I could be the perfect fit for you! Let’s take things at my pace, and I’ll show you what a good boy I can be.

Story
Hi hoomans, my name is Doli, and I'm in the prime of my life at about 10-years-old.  Everyone comments on my sky blue eyes and thick husky-type hair that is every shade of gold you can imagine. My tail is like a fox's - thick, long, and curly. At 50 lbs, I am a fit and healthy girl  I am very chill and quiet. That doesn't mean I don't get excited because I do! When the "hoomans" come home, I do a fun little wiggle dance to welcome them! I would be a great fit for a shared wall situation (i.e., like an apartment of townhome) since I rarely bark. I LOVE being outside and like going on walks and car rides. When I am inside, I have the very "bestest "manners. I like the security of my crate, but I don't need to be locked in. I sleep in my crate, on the floor, or in the master walk-in closet that I think is my den. I wouldn't dream of chewing up anything. Well, maybe I would DREAM it but wouldn't DO it! I am shy around new people but warm up quickly and have adjusted fine in my foster home. I am not a fan of other animals, but if I see them out, I ignore them and hope they go away!  Hope to meet you soon! Story
Meet Bobo Leon, the ultimate adventure buddy wrapped in a stunning husky package! This one-year-old charmer is officially adoptable and ready to find his forever family. With his mesmerizing crystal blue eyes and goofy, affectionate personality, Bobo is sure to steal your heart. He’s housebroken and loves exploring the world—whether it’s walks in nature, strolls around town to meet new friends (both human and canine), or playing fetch. He’s also a big fan of romping around with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a doggy sibling who matches his energy and playful spirit. When the fun winds down, Bobo is all about snuggling on the couch or curling up with his humans at night.   Bobo is a classic husky through and through—energetic, talkative, athletic, and quick on his feet! He’s even okay with cats; in his previous home, he lived outside alongside one. While he’s full of excitement, Bobo would do best in a home with older kids or adults who can keep up with his lively personality. A fully fenced yard (at least 6 feet high) is essential for this clever escape artist, and he’d love someone who’s home most of the time to help him feel secure as he continues to blossom into his best self.   This resilient pup has come a long way after a rough start in life. Following an accident where he escaped his former yard and was hit by a car, Bobo underwent surgery to repair his hip—and now he’s fully recovered and ready to live life to the fullest! Despite his challenges, he’s proven to be incredibly adaptable. He’s made great strides in potty and crate training and is learning how to play nicely with other dogs. With patient playmates and loving guidance, Bobo will continue to grow into an amazing companion.   Bobo is looking for a family who can give him the love, attention, and fun he deserves. With consistent care, plenty of adventures, and lots of cuddles, this gorgeous boy will bring endless joy to your life. Get ready for unforgettable moments filled with laughter, love, and those captivating blue eyes gazing at you with pure adoration! Story
Little Guy is a sweet, spoiled boy who enjoys spending time with his people. He would be a wonderful pup to go hiking with on a leash. He is an avid critter chaser and will dig after those critters if not supervised. The Husky in him means he needs to stay on a leash, but the Lab in him does calm him down somewhat. He also doesn’t mind his crate for short periods and sees it as a safe nap spot. He loves children, but may be a bit overwhelming for very small ones. He enjoys giving kisses and affection, and small children are the right size to receive those kisses face-to-face. He also thinks he is a lap dog at times and loves to snuggle on the couch. He is on the smaller side, hence his name. If you are looking for a loyal and loving smaller-sized pup, Little Guy may be the perfect addition to your family. LG is current on vaccines, has been microchipped, neutered, and is on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. If you are interested, please fill out an application at www.mushrescue.com or email adopt@mushrescue.com with any questions.
