Story
Meet Domino          Male | Medium–High Energy Domino is a total love bug who is ready to pour his heart into his forever family. Outgoing and affectionate, Domino loves his people deeply and always wants to be close. He’s already doing well on a leash, is potty trained, and enjoys showing his affection with big, happy hugs—something he’s working on refining with a little more training. While he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other dogs, Domino has shown friendly behavior around them and would likely enjoy making new canine friends. He has beautiful long hair that's easy to brush, and he actually enjoys his grooming sessions, making bonding time even sweeter. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s full of love, energy, and devotion, Domino is ready to meet you. Ready to welcome Domino into your life? ##2372851##

Story
Ash is a beautiful dog, inside and out. We have had an Akita for ten years, in the past and thought we knew the breed because of that. However, Ash has become aggressive with one of our other dogs and we have had to keep her separate due to this. Ash is smart, loyal, a great listener, fun, knows commands, playful but also calm, knows fetch with balls and will even go after sticks thrown in the water, she swims, loves the outdoors, hiking, can be off leash with good recall in areas with no other dogs. she is amazing but at this point we cannot keep her. We have had her since she was 12 weeks old and this problem just developed over the last six months. We believe she needs to be in a home without other dogs.. and hope to find someone who is familiar with the breed. This is not an easy decision for us but we know it is best for her and our other dogs.

Story
Name: Tank Sex: M Age: 1 year DOB: March 15th, 2024 Weight: 75 lb Breed: American Akita  Meet Tank: Your Devoted American Akita Cuddle Buddy! Tank is the ultimate mama’s boy—loyal, loving, and always putting his person’s heart first. Both him and his sister were welcomed at six weeks old into an Akita-loving home. Tank grew up with his sister and two other American Akitas on a three-acre playground, but by seven months of age it was clear he needed to be the only dog in the home. He began to fight with his sister (typical littermate syndrome), which made the older male Akita aggressive towards Tank. For his safety, he is now searching for his perfect match—someone who wants an affectionate, smart, and devoted companion.   Tank thrives on love and affection. He will be your shadow, always by your side, and always ready for snuggles. He’d love to sleep in bed with you but is also crate-trained and respectful of your space. While he loves a good toy and outside time, he prefers staying indoors and watching a movie with you. Smart and playful, he walks well on a leash, will sit for a treat, and will patiently wait for you to return home.   Tank will steal your heart, but he will also be very protective of his own at first. Tank is not acustomed to anyone other than his owners and isn't welcoming of strangers. He will need someone to be patient with him while he adjusts, but the patience will be worth the love he gives. If you’re looking for a best friend who will adore you unconditionally, Tank is ready to be yours. Likes: His favorite snack is red apple slices, he likes walks and he loves sleeping in bed with his owners.  Dislikes: Strangers/Amazon and Grocery Deliver Kids? Teens are welcome- he's never been around small children. ##2346534##

Story
HIGHLIGHT:Requires another confident dog already established in the homeMeet Indy – a shy girl with a big heart who`s ready to blossom in the right home.Indy is a 1-year-old mixed breed who weighs about 50 pounds. She’s a sweet and affectionate pup once she gets to know you, but she takes her time warming up. With people she doesn’t know, she can be standoffish and avoidant, but once you’re part of her circle, she becomes incredibly loving, snuggly, and loyal. She’ll happily give kisses, crawl into your lap, and soak up all the affection she can.Indy requires a confident dog already in the home to help her continue to build trust and confidence. She thrives in the company of other dogs—she loves to play, makes fast friends, and comes out of her shell when she’s around dog buddies. This adventurous girl is always up for some fun. She loves toys, splashing in water, car rides (she jumps in on her own and does great!), and especially hiking and long walks. She’s energetic, curious, and happiest when she’s exploring the outdoors or romping around with her dog pals.Indy is crate trained, nearly potty trained, and working on her basic obedience in her foster home. She does have some typical puppy habits like chewing, but with the right toys and guidance, she’s doing great. If you`re looking for a fun, active companion and are willing to give her the time and patience she needs to fully trust, Indy will reward you with the deepest love and most loyal friendship. Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for dogs like Indy, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is incredibly rewarding. To learn more about our dogs and start the adoption process, please visit our website.
