Kai is a handsome and sweet 60 lb Japanese Akita who loves to eat snacks and run or walk with his people and other dogs. He is smaller than the American Akita but just as beautiful and smart! He loves to run and exercise! He is selective with dogs and favors female dogs. He was tested recently and does chase small animals such as squirrels and cats. Sadly, Kai was abandoned at a kennel by his owners. He is a lovely dog looking for his very own forever home! He would do well in an adult home with older children. This young guy is super fun and a total looker. He’s an athlete for sure….. he just may not know the rules of the game….. but he’s super up to learn! He is really friendly and eager to play, but also just loves getting attention (treats are good too) and knowing what was going on. He seems to be an Akita mix and definitely has that Akita attentiveness. He’s a nice mid size (much smaller than a standard Akita) and has a medium level of fluff. He will need regular brushing to maintain that fluff, and regular exercise to manage his play level. In return, he will be your absolute bestie forever! You will never have a better bestie than him! You also will have a dog photo for any occasion at the ready on your camera roll cuz you’re gonna take so many pictures of this heartbreaker. Tonga will need some basic training and a nice consistent walk/ exercise/play routine.

Her original owner was a woman fighting uterine cancer, which later spread to her lungs. Due to her illness, she was no longer able to care for Candy. We ended up in a shelter, but after two months with no adoption offers, she was at risk of being euthanized. She was rescued just in time, and now she’s looking for a loving family who will offer her a safe and caring forever home. Candy is a sweet, loving dog who deserves a second chance. Cora has blossomed into a beautiful spirit once away from that horrible shelter environment. She's been enjoying time at my trainer's ranch and gaining confidence and socializing with all the dogs. She is very dog friendly and LOVES to play and run with all the dogs big or small. In fact she NEEDS a dog buddy! She has a typical rough and tumble husky style of play. A big surprise she is cat friendly too! (See video). She initially is wary of strangers but warms up in time and learning now to trust humans and show her love and affection. This handsome fellow is Teddy who we rescued from a high kill shelter in So Cal. He is good with other large friendly female dogs, loves to play, but above all just wants human attention and cuddles. Teddy is a social butterfly and knows how to read the room! He's about 4 yrs old, weighs approx 65 lbs, and looks to be a husky staffie blend. He's beautiful with 1 blue and 1 brown eye and a curl in his tail. He is neutered, all shots, and ready for his forever home. Teddy is house trained, easy going, and has a calm demeanor. He is so loving! He is well behaved in public places like pet stores and vet offices and rides well in the car. Teddy would be best in an active adult only household or family with older kids.
