He may have a tiny bit of Malinois mixed in due to the shape of his head but that is pure speculation. He came into rescue neglected and has recovered beautifully!! He is very playful and loves to run but is also quite attached to his humans! He is looking for a home with either a fenced yard with room to run or one that will take him out on hikes, walks or runs. (On leash of course!) He seems to prefer being an only dog/child. Pistol is a spunky young boy that loves affection. He will run and jump like a kangaroo in excitement to see you!! He is very afraid of fireworks so needs a home that will understand and keep him in a safe place during those booming nights. He is a very sweet boy that will steal your heart! He is very handsome and still growing. During the first few months of his life he only had limited exposure to the world outside of his previous home. Yoshi is highly intelligent and wants someone who will stimulate his mind and teach him new skills. It takes him a little bit of time to warm up to strangers and get used to them so it will take more than one visit before he is ready to go home. Because of his cautious demeanor, he would do best in a calm and consistent environment with a good human leader to make him feel safe and help him develop into a more well rounded canine. He would do best with a breed experienced home that respects his space and positively encourages him as he learns what this world has to offer. He is confident and a happy easy keeper, that loves exploring. He would thrive with someone who believes in him as he learns what being a loved and accepted doggy is like. Ume is a delightful 2 year old female Akita! She loves to bounce around the play yard and splash in her pool! She is sweet and comes running to you for a good scratch. We have been told she doesn't like other dogs but will work with her with some same sized males to see if we can change her mind.  For now she would need to be an only dog. She is very treat motivated and also loves toys!! She would do best in an active, breed experienced, adult only home. Malakye is a gentle giant and will protect you and love you. He is a lap dog and needs a lot of active love and attention. He is territorial of his home and loved ones but is fine if introduced to a house as he isn’t the alpha. I can no longer take care of him due to job loss and relocation. I rescued him when he was 9 months old and have given him a loving home for many years. Sadly I have a 1 year old now and finances have cause me to make drastic changes to our lives.
