Story
Charlie is a sweet Akbash/Pyr mix, who is protective of his person, and has the typical Pyr attitude. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is approximately 3-4 years old and weighs 102 pounds. Charlie does well with the smaller dogs in the current foster home, though would probably do best as an only dog. Charley very much enjoys "working"...having something to do. Though we do not allow him to be an outdoor dog, he very much enjoys his time in the yard/sun. He loves going for walks, but is often scared of other unknown big dogs. Charlie is great with the cats in the current foster home, and absolutely LOVES men!!! If interested in Charlie, please fill out our foster or adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Sassy was surrendered because she was no longer wanted. She is a very sweet dog who can have very high energy. She walks well on a leash. She is not house trained, but is said to do well in a crate. It is unknown how she is with cats or livestock but she is not dog friendly. She is supposed to be good with children. She loves receiving belly rubs and tends to flop down on her back dramatically to get them. She has received all her vaccinations, microchip, a spay, and de-wormer. She is heart worm negative and on prevention. ECHS does not reserve adoptable animals for the public. Adoptions are first come first serve the day of availability. Please note that availability is subject to change at any point in time per ECHS discretion

Story
Bear was mellow from day one and his friendliness has really blossomed. He loves tussle with my playful female dog, and he is respectful of my male dog who isn’t as outgoing. On walks, Bear naturally heels and frequently looks up at me with a huge grin on his face. Bear can sleep in some very *interesting* positions. He has a spine like a crazy straw and does very impressive sploots. He knew “sit” already, and since we have been fostering him he has become a pro at “go to jail” (the crate) and he is quickly picking up on “stay.”   November 5, 2024, 4:08 pm

Story
Honey is a playful, sometimes goofy girl. She has a fetish for flip flops. If she sees one she will pick up it and walk around with it like it’s a prize. She is currently being fostered in a home with small and large dogs. There is a daily routine for the pack that all must follow which includes training every morning. All dogs are supervised and are all crate trained. Honey would make a great family companion or for a retired couple looking for a dog to keep them company. November 5, 2024, 4:08 pm
