Story
We bought Sadie at 6 weeks old from a person in Lockhart. TX in Jan. 2019. Her parents were working livestock guardian dogs. She lived inside with us for the first several months, then transitioned to inside and out and finally just outside. We keep her in an outdoor kennel but can tell she really isn't happy there. There was a time we did let her roam but as we found out, these dogs do not stay within a certain boundry unless they have a reason (a flock to guard). We now have several small grandchildren that live on the property with us (daughter and son-in-law as well) and since Sadie wasn't socialized around small children were not comfortable letting her roam freely. We are hoping to find a home for her where she can either roam freely or settle down inside with the right person (people). She has a sweet disposition, understands basic commands and does mind except when it comes to roaming. We know that is just bred within so don't hold that against her.

These pups are in Rosenberg, Texas too!

Story
Hi there, my name is Birdie.  My foster mom tells me I'm going to be a big girl one day, but I don't believe her.  I think I'm a lap dog and I kinda like it that way.  I enjoy playing with my siblings, both bioilogical and foster, and toys.  My favorite thing to do is lay in my foster mom's lap and get all the belly rubs I can handle.  My ideal home would be one that provides guidance and basic training.  My forever family would be one that will spend time snuggling and watching TV with me.  My adoption fee is $250 locally and $350 out of state.
