Rescued from the depths of fear and abandonment alongside his brother, Copper, Jack's journey to trust and love is nothing short of remarkable. Dumped in the cornfields outside of Moody, Texas, Jack and Copper faced unimaginable hardships at a tender age. Covered in fleas and undernourished, their resilience and determination to survive shone through. Now, at around 9 months old, Jack is still learning to trust strangers and adjust to life with humans. While he may be timid at first and still mastering the art of walking on a leash, Jack's potential for love and companionship knows no bounds. With patience, love, and the guidance of a dedicated trainer, Jack is making strides towards overcoming his fears. Once he forms a bond with his human, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion.

Missy was found with sister Maggie as a stray. Both were rescued and came to HOT-PAWS. Missy is currently fostered in a home with kids of all ages. She is good with the kids and with other dogs, but not so good with cats or poultry. This big pretty girl walks fairly well on a leash and will crate okay, but prefers room to move around. She does need a secure fence, but will stay well within one. She is currently housed with her sister, and enjoys her company, but could be separated to get her into the right home.

Maggie was found as a stray along with sister Missy. The two were taken in by HOT-PAWS and currently house together. This big girl fosters in a home with kids of all ages and has been good around all. She has also been good around others dogs, but is not so good with cats, and poultry. This girl rides well in the car, walks fairly well on a leash, crates okay and enjoys spending time outside. She does require a secure fence to keep her safe. Maggie would like to find a home to call her own, with or without her sister.

He will walk on a leash and crates okay once in, but is not a huge fan of being cooped up. He enjoys room to run and play, but does require a secure fence.
