Story
I would like to try and find a better home for our good boy, Bo. He needs land to patrol or a large yard with daily walks. He's a 2.5 year old, 100+ lb Great Pyrenees mix. Neutered, vaccinated, and house trained. Looking for someone that has knowledge/appreciation of the quirks of Great Pyrenees. He's good with kids (older preferred), would enjoy another dog to play with but not required, sleeps inside most of the time (day and night), doesn't need to be in a crate, does the "Pyrenees paw" for chest scratches. We adopted him as a feral pup from Safe in Austin Rescue Ranch at 4-5 months old. He's a sweet boy, but remains pretty independent and is an escape artist (which is common with the breed, although he does always return). We've tried everything to keep him from escaping. Now our neighbor is going to sue us over it if he's not gone soon. We need to find him a good home ASAP.
