You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption Criteria (young adult over 1 yr old) 1. GPAT dogs are located in Texas, we will consider out-of-state adoptions on a case by case basis. 2. Dogs will only be adopted as companion animals to be part of the family and reside primarily inside the home.    3. Preference is to have someone at home at least part of the day versus the dog being alone the majority of the day. 4. Preference is for the applicant to have specific knowledge and experience of the Great Pyrenees breed.  Breed specific information will be covered in the virtual home visit/interview.  5. To integrate the dog into the family and provide mentorship to the dog, preference is for applicant to have at least 1 medium/large youthful/playful dog in the household. 6. All current pets in the home should be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines,  7. Preference is for applicant to have a socialization and positive training plan in place prior to bringing a dog home. 8. If a dog is listed as available, be aware that other applications may have come in first and are currently being worked by our application process team.  9. Adoption Fee: $375 which includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heart worm test.  10. GPAT dogs are located in Texas, we will consider out-of-state adoptions on a case by case basis. 2. Adoption Fee: $400.00 (includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test). 3. We only adopt out companion dogs that will be considered part of the family and will be primarily inside dogs.   4. Preference is for applicants to have some knowledge and experience with the Great Pyrenees breed. Specific information about the breed will be shared during the interview/virtual home visit.  5. Secure and visible fencing is required. In a very few cases, fencing options will be considered based on the specific needs of a particular dog.  6. Preference is for applicants willing to provide "positive" training to adopted dogs. 7.
