Story
Duke #2 is very sweet, he keeps a clean crate. He is in an area with other dogs and gets along fine. He loves attention. Very sweet, shy at first. Please research this breed of dog before considering adopting. First submit an application. Once the application has been received. You will be contacted so we can set up an appointment for you to meet your new best friend. You will need to submit veterinary references and have a fenced in yard. If you currently have other dogs, the following information can help you with introductions. 1.The first introduction between ND and ED should be outdoors in the yard or driveway. Though this is ED’s territory, it is more neutral than inside the house. 2. After the first introduction, immediately take ND and ED on a short walk together. Then bring them inside and feed them a small meal together. Both dogs should be leashed for this so that you can keep them from interfering with the other dog’s food. This sets a precedent for ND being a part of the pack and routine. 3. All interactions between ND and ED need to be positive. If this means they only interact for a few minutes at a time to sniff each other, then this is all they should get. Frequent, positive interactions, especially in the first few days, are vital to having a successful integration.

Story
The MAGICAL Albus Dumbledore! This loving and majestic dog is ready to charm his way into your heart and home! Albus is a wonderfully sweet Great Pyrenees or Akbash mix. He is only 3 years old but has the calm demeanor of a wise old wizard. Prepare to be enchanted by his sweet and gentle nature, because this boy really is a gentle giant. Albus is 90 pounds of big baby! And with his spellbinding good looks and regal presence, this handsome guy will captivate your heart! Poor Albus was picked up as a stray and brought to the OKC shelter. He was covered in fleas and ticks and had a wounded leg. Due to lack of space at the shelter and needing medical care, Albus sadly ended up on the euthanasia list. But thankfully, Angel Fund OKC pulled him in the nick of time. Now he is healed, cleaned up, and ready to find a forever home for Christmas! Albus is great with our other dogs and mostly ignores the cats. He is very sweet with everyone he meets; he is just a little shy about going to new places. He is learning that the world is not such a scary place! Albus is a low-energy boy. He does enjoy going for walks and an occasional run through the backyard. But mostly he is content just lounging around and being loved by his humans! Do you need a big cuddly companion to keep you warm this winter? Albus is your guy! Albus: Total love bug Great Pyrenees or Akbash mix Estimated 3 years old 90-pound marshmallow Goofball Cuddler Potty trained Loves other dogs and plays well Good with indoor cats Great on leash and loves going for walks Cutest overbite you have ever seen Low energy Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines We don’t know where Albus has been in his life or what he has been through, but we do know that Albus is an amazing sweet dog, and he is going to make the best companion!
