Story
Disney is a 7 year old male. He has been waiting for his perfect home for a very long time. He is a good boy most of the time but can present some challenges which include the behavior of an untrained, goofy puppy at times. We have learned what triggers that behavior and how to avoid and stop it. Disney is our Peter Pan Pyr. He can't seem to 100% grow up, still loves toys and is a fun happy boy. Disney has matured into a very handsome 90 pounds. We will be looking for an experienced adult only home committed to house training (manners) and working obedience into his everyday life. He needs structure and routine. Disney does have house expereince, is fine in a crate for a reasonable length of time, loves car rides and is quite the affectionate boy. He is good for the groomer and vet, walks well on leash with the right collar and does well with most other dogs. Even though he is good with most all other dogs he prefers human attention. His best match will be as an only dog home with play dates or doggy day care to give him some canine socialization. If placed with another dog, a resident female would be his best match. Please contact us if interested in adopting, fostering to adopt or fostering. Adoption info and application can be found at gprci.com Securely fenced yard for safe outside potty and play time will be required.

Story
Chevy is a super nice 3 year old female Great Pyrenees mix. She and her sister ended up in our rescue program when, even after we helped with vet care and boarding so they could hopefully stay with their previous owner, it just didn't work out. Her sister has been adopted but Chevy is still waiting to catch some lucky adopter's eye. Yes, yes I know she doesn't look much like a Pyr, but she is, according to her DNA results, 70% Great Pyrenees. The other 30% is 1-4% each of 11 different breeds. Will be happy to share those results with serious inquiries. She has a shorter coat with lots of color that will take less maintenance than a full Pyr coat. Chevy is very smart and more responsive and obedient than most purebred Great Pyrs. Chevy is fully vetted, house trained, walks well on leash, rides well in the car, and is sweet and gentle with adults and children. She is good with other dogs and would match up as a companion and playmate to just about any male dog. She has lived with small dogs (Chihuahuas) and is familiar with horses. Not great with chickens or cats. Chevy will be placed as a family companion with inside privileges. She loves people and affection. A securely fenced yard will be required. Adoption info and an adoption application can be found at gprci.com and questions can be emailed to gprci.info@gmail.com

Story
Chief is an almost three year old (B.D. 11/26/2021)Great Pyrenees/Great Dane mix. He is as nice a boy as he is handsome. Chief is friendly with everyone he meets including children but being a big, happy and playful dog, he could knock over small children. Chief is house trained, walks very well on leash, rides well in the car and handles well at the vet and the groomer. He has a history of being fine with cats and female dogs and a spayed female would be the best match as a companion dog. Chief has been fully vetted including successfully completing heart worm treatment. He is ready to meet his forever family. Chief is such a great boy and with a little fine tuning will be no less than fantastic. He will be placed as an inside family companion and a securely fenced yard will be required. He needs a good sized yard with minimum 5 foot fencing to stretch his long legs in. Please email any questions to gprci.info@gamil.com Adoption application can be found at gprci.com
