Story
We rehomed Tina a couple years ago and over time our other dog aged and does not play much with her. She is couped up and bored in our home and needs a family that can give her recreation, walks, training , playtime etc. She needs to go to a home with a compatible dog friend with energy and loves to play, as well as a fenced yard to explore! She does well with a 4 ft chain link. She LOVES people and kids, but may be a bit rambunctious for some children, although she does do well with our toddler. She is an absolute loving sweetheart of a dog and is very affectionate. We would request that a potential adopter has understanding/experience of Akbash breed tendencies, or at minimum is familiar with regimented training and/or working breeds. She has high drive proclivities but was not trained as a farm dog. Unfortunately we have many factors including a growing family, that are preventing us from doing right by her. We are happy to provide more information upon inquiry.

These pups are in Alpharetta, Georgia too!

Story
Hello, future best friend! My name is Joey Nicholas and I cannot wait to give you all the hugs you can handle. I'm a gorgeous Great Pyr/Aussie mix who loves people. If you're searching for a big, fluffy companion, look no further!    I expect a lot of pets from my humans. In fact, I'll conveniently place my head beneath your hand to make it even easier for you. Are you watching a movie on the couch? Move over and I'll give you all the affection you need.    I would love a fenced in yard to run around because when I'm not cuddling, I have energy! So, an apartment home is not a good fit for me. I'm also perfectly potty trained and crate trained and I do really well in the car.    The one thing I cannot deal with is...cats. Even though I'm a big boy, cats are my Kryptonite. Sometimes I don't get along with small dogs, either. (I have lived with a dog sibling before and we were best buds.) But I need a cat-free and tiny-dog-free home please.   Also on my wishlist: a family that enjoys teaching me new tricks because I love training and using my smarts!    Basically, I'm the biggest sweetheart. But don't take my word for it, here's what my best human friends have to say about me: "he's a big love bug and incredibly intelligent." Joey Nicholas is an amazing boy who loves everyone." My foster mom says I'm the most loving and affectionate dog she's ever met and she's so impressed with me.    My new family is in for a treat! An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          January 15, 2025, 7:26 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Autumn! I’m the last of my litter waiting to find my forever home, and no one can figure out why. I’m smart as can be and have already mastered house training (puppy pads inside, no problem!), walking on a leash, and even commands like “sit” and “stay.” I settle in my crate quickly when left alone and sleep soundly through the night—no midnight shenanigans here! I love snuggling with my foster family and fur siblings, and if you’ve got cheese, you’ve got my full attention. My foster family says I’m the whole package: sweet, smart, and ready to thrive with the right family. Don't keep Autum waiting. Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org  Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  ##2233511##
