Story
Charlie is a typical Akbash/Pyr mix, who is head strong and protective of his person. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Charlie does well with the smaller dogs in the current foster home, though seems unsure of large dogs. He very much enjoys "working"...having something to do. Though we do not allow him to be an outdoor dog, he very much enjoys his time in the yard/sun. Charlie loves going for walks, but is often scared of other unknown big dogs. He is great with the cats in the current foster home, and absolutely LOVES men!!! ****Charlie is currently in foster care in DFW, so transport would need to be arranged!**** If interested in Charlie, please fill out our foster or adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Odie is a big, beautiful, smart, loveable and playful boy. He loves people and loves attention - petting and ear rubbing. He loves daily walks at the parks, car rides , playing ball and squeaky toys. Odie is a real love bug who would love to be a lap dog.  Odie has a short coat for easy grooming, he likes to be brushed.  Odie knows how to “sit” and loves treats.  Please consider giving Odie his forever home   He gets along with bigger dogs but growls and barks at small dogs.  Odie would do best in a family where someone is home most of the time or with a retired couple who can spend lots of time with him. A BIG 6 FOOT FENCED YARD/PROPERTY FOR HIM TO RUN AROUND AND PATROL IS A MUST!!!!!! Story
Meet Buffalo! Buffalo loves to chase and run around, then settle down for a nap either inside or in a cozy hole he digs in the backyard. He walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is fully housebroken. Dogs can make him uncomfortable so will need slow and respectful introductions to other dogs. Though not suited for city life or apartment living, Buffalo will make a great companion in a home where he can roam and be adored.

Story
Hi, I’m Lylah! I’m a friendly and playful girl looking for a patient and active home where I can thrive. I tend to forget my size sometimes, so I’d do best in a mature home. I show discomfort towards other dogs so slow and proper introductions are important. I may do best with a calm dog versus high energy. I love squeaky toys, rope toys, and, most of all, cuddles! Bonus: I’d make an awesome hiking buddy.

Story
We took Yeti in from a friend at 4 months old as his original owner backed out of taking him. He is a sweet boy, potty trained, but a big chewer and barker. We have tried everything these past 10 months to keep him from chewing and barking - with very little luck. He has soooooo many toys to chew on yet he still prefers more than toys. He needs a large yard that he can roam/protect/bark all he wants without neighbors getting upset. We have 2 other dogs (the brindles in the picture) that he gets along with great. We also have 3 cats, one which thinks she's a dog so she'll play with him (the other 2 are anti dogs). He is very reluctant to car rides. I've tried several times since we got him, with no luck. My husband has to pick him up and take him to the truck - hence why no vaccines more than Rabies and what our friend did prior to obtaining him. He also became a dad at less then a year old.... our brindle female went into heat 3 months early and well now I have 3 puppies as well.
