Floyd is a gentle boy who is looking for a lucky family to spend his life with. He's very sweet but a bit shy when he first meets new folks. He is eager for attention once he's made an introduction. Floyd would love to have a large yard or property to watch over. He's the kind of dog who can take a long hike or a romp through the woods and then cuddle by the fire with his humans. He's been tested with other dogs, cats, and kids and did well with all three! Call the Ranch to meet this handsome pup today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. Willow's caught in limbo between wanting to be a pet and wanting to be a pyrenees. She's very shy but also really wants human affection.  She gets along perfectly with many kinds of other dogs and has lived with a chihuahua, border collie, and pittie. She was even friendly with visiting dogs. She prefers her dog house outside, but allows her caretakers to crawls in to leash or brush her daily.  Willow w ould make a beautiful companion with minimal security measures in place. A roofed enclosure, maybe a canine companion, leash walks, and some understanding of this beautiful breed. Willow can easily clear a 6' fence. However, she never went beyond her property, and has a good recall even at long distance. She w alks sweetly on leash. Seems to really want affection and it's likely she didn't get much of it in her previous life. She'll kennel happily on command into her enclosure, makes a wonderful watchdog, and there's not a mean bone in her body. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Meet Lexi! This is what her prior owners had to say about her! "Here are the amazing and wonderful things about Lexi. She is so good on a leash, she likes to walk ahead but she doesn't pull and is very conscious of matching her speed to yours!  She responds quickly to a firm No, she responds by giving you eye contact and stopping what she was doing. She learns so quickly.  She learned to pause at a threshold and wait until she got the "OK Go" command.  She has great house manners, th ough she was curious about what was happening on countertops, dishwashers etc, you just have to say "No" and she redirects.  She seems to be house trained, the one time she needed to go when we were inside she gave very clear signals - trotting from exterior door to exterior door until we figured it out and she held it till we got her outside.  She learned "go potty" meant leash up and go outside to the designated spot, learned that after about 3 tries. She had no problems sleeping - once she went down, she didn't get up until 6:30 the next morning, and she wasn't destructive at all! She is a very smart, loving, and all around great dog."
