Story
Welcome Jazz to CCPAL Rescue. Jazz is a 2-year-old Airedale/Irish Terrier Mix dog. She weighs about 70 pounds and has the scruffy terrier coat. She is not a big shedder and is very friendly. Jazz had an elderly man owner. Her owner is now in hospice so CCPAL was asked to step up for his 3 dogs. Jazz has some loss of hair and will be taking a NexGard. This will take care of it and she will be as good as new in a few weeks. Her owner is not doing well and the only option is for all 3 of these dogs to find a new forever home. They are well behaved and have some commands under their belt. Jazz knows sit and is decent on a leash. We do think she is potty trained as she doesn’t go in her kennel. She is very attentive and naturally bonds well with men. She wants to do what you ask and can be an only or go with other dogs. She is a stronger willed than the boy named Jett. She is a wonderful dog. She has lived in a home with two large males and did great. She would be a great companion for someone wanting a active companion that is less of a shedding dog. She is currently in Texas at the CCPAL. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Parrot is a super sweet six-month old girl looking for a forever home. She weighs 28 pounds, has scruffy fur, long legs, and a friendly personality. It’s hard to believe that Parrot and her sisters were found stray and ended up in a crowded shelter, but even amidst the crowd, everyone who met them said they were sweet as pie. We’re so happy to have been able to send the girls to loving foster homes so that they can get ready for their new families to find them and bring them home. Parrot is enjoying being part of a family in her foster home. She loves playing with other dogs, gets along with all the dogs in her foster home, and loves all people. Parrot is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventives. If you’d like to make this adorable girl a member of your family, please email bigyellowdog.wendy@gmail.com for an application.

Story
6-month old Blue Jay and her two sisters are each looking for their very own forever home. The girls are not bonded and will be placed separately. They have wonderful personalities, wiry fur and are low-shed. After being found abandoned, these adorable girls spent many months overlooked in a crowded shelter, but all the while their sweet personalities were evident. They are happy, loving, playful, and affectionate. We are so delighted to have found foster homes for these lovely girls so that they can get ready for their new families to find them and bring them home. Blue Jay’s foster mom says “Blue Jay is very loving and smart. She already learned ‘sit’ and she actually loves sleeping in her crate at night. She’s great with the kids.” Blue Jay the biggest sisters and weighs about 35 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventives. Thanks to her foster family, she is crate trained and has a good head start on house training.
