Story
Cocoa Latte is our beautiful black female puppy that was born around the end of October, 2025 and she currently weighs 16 pounds as of Feb. 1st.  This little thing is so good and smart and fun to have around.  She just wants to snuggle with you and give kisses whenever she can sneak them in. Cocoa was born to an Airedale momma (picture of her on this post) and the dad was said to be a Poodle mix. Obviously this is where she gets her cuteness factor from.  She is now in a great foster home has me enjoying a game of tug of war with a neighbor boy who comes to play with her and her siblings every day. She has learned how to fetch a ball and to interact with children easily. She is surrounded by very smart adult dogs and even cats that are showing her how to live harmoniously with all of them as her teachers in life.  The foster mom has Cocoa learning how to use a crate, where to go to the bathroom outside and even has started putting a leash on her so she will get used to walking nicely with a new family or person that adopts her.  She has been spayed and is getting all shots that are needed and dewormings. Cocoa is prepared to come live with a forever family any time now.  If you are ready to adopt really soon please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue who took us all in and gave us a promise of wonderful news homes…..all 8 of us.  Please write to them at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 27, 2025, 6:55 pm

Story
Welcome Jazz to CCPAL Rescue. Jazz is a 2-year-old Airedale/Irish Terrier Mix dog. She weighs about 70 pounds and has the scruffy terrier coat. She is not a big shedder and is very friendly. Jazz had an elderly man owner. Her owner is now in hospice so CCPAL was asked to step up for his 3 dogs. Jazz has some loss of hair and will be taking a NexGard. This will take care of it and she will be as good as new in a few weeks. Her owner is not doing well and the only option is for all 3 of these dogs to find a new forever home. They are well behaved and have some commands under their belt. Jazz knows sit and is decent on a leash. We do think she is potty trained as she doesn’t go in her kennel. She is very attentive and naturally bonds well with men. She wants to do what you ask and can be an only or go with other dogs. She is a stronger willed than the boy named Jett. She is a wonderful dog. She has lived in a home with two large males and did great. She would be a great companion for someone wanting a active companion that is less of a shedding dog. She is currently in Texas at the CCPAL. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
BEING FOSTERED IN CT Blue is a fun 10-month old 45 lb pup who’s full of life and love! She would be so happy in an active family that would include her in activities and adventures. She loves other dogs and would be wonderful as a second dog or would thrive as an only dog soaking up all the attention. While she still has some puppy energy and curiosity, she loves sunbathing, napping on the couch, and snuggling with her people. Blue is housebroken and crate trained. Blue’s foster mom says “Blue is very loving, playful and smart, the right mixture of sassy and sweet! She loves to chase balls, wrestle, play tug, and romp in the back yard with my dog. She recently learned the joy of swimming in the ocean and loves to play in water of any kind. She would probably love boating too! She will entertain herself with her toys and bones and likes to be with you on the sofa at night. She is great at the vet, loves to go for car rides, and naps in her bed next to me when I work from home. She loves to go for walks and gets so excited when you pick up her harness.” Blue is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventives. She is crate trained and house broken. Blue's sibling has had a DNA test and it showed her to be 50% Airedale Terrier. If you would like to give Blue a forever home, please email bigyellowgoose018@gmail.com for an application.
