Story
Peggy Sue and her sister came to us from a previous adopter that we loved so much. Their previous owner had adopted a senior from us who eventually passed after a wonderful life. She then ended up getting these puppies shortly before losing everything in the Palisades fire. Unfortunately, the only living situation she could coordinate after the fire did not allow her to safely bring her pups so she decided to surrender them to Ho'ola Dog Rescue. The pups are young, at about 13-14 weeks old (as of 1/23/25) and are not potty trained yet but are working on it! They are currently in a puppy pen together and aren't truly crate trained yet either due to age. Peggy Sue is the adventurer! She is very outgoing with all animals and people and loves to snuggle and play all day. Molly May is the shy girl. She takes a moment to warm up to people and other animals, but is very kind and sweet in just a moment's time. She would do best in a calm home with patient owners. They both love to cuddle and play so much, that they can get a little upset when going back to their pen, but quickly settle and take one of their many naps. They love to nap throughout the day! If you're interested in adopting either of these cuties, please apply today! ** We typically don't adopt siblings together because of littermate syndrome and overall, we find that Martha May is able to open up much more easily when not with her sister. It would be in their best interests long term to be adopted separately** Thank you for understanding!
