Story
This beautiful and sweet Redbone Coonhound is estimated to be less than 2 years old, and we think he is on the younger side. He is full of spunk and energy and would be best suited for a person or family that is active outdoors. He walks well on a leash and loves getting sniffs in. He loves chewing on nylabones and playing tug with his dog buddy. He does well with other dogs and is not alpha. Even though he is high energy, he also enjoys sitting on the couch with you. His favorite sleep spot is in bed between two people. He will crate at night but it takes a few minutes for him to settle down. Can you blame him? FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Story
Hello! My name is Bentley and I am very happy to be here! At first it was a little scary, new town (I was rescued in El Paso), new people and I rode in a few cars since being saved. Riding in cars? Wowza! That was an experience! I was nervous and a little afraid but once I got comfortable, I feel like I finally hit a new chapter in my life. Life now? It's just beginning. I love to lay down with my humans and get all the love I can get. Warning... I can't get enough love from you. I crave it. My foster mom says I have changed a lot and I look like a distinguished gentleman. Thats because after I got my vaccines and prevents, my hair grew longer and it is so soft and fluffy now. My humans love to run their fingers through it. Did I mention that I LOVE the attention? I am pretty sure that I'm ready to meet my furever family and live my life learning new things and having fun. In fact, I'm pawsitive!! -Cat reactive -Potty trained but marks inside. -Learning the leash. Please take me for walks. I love them! -Gets along with all sizes of dogs I am waiting!! Adopt me soon!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Parson is a 7-month-old, 14-pound scruffy Border Terrier mix with a whole lot of energy and an eagerness to please! His tail wags his whole body, and he’s always ready to play. While he’s not a cuddly lap dog (at least not yet), he’s affectionate in his own way and loves being around his people and dog friends.Parson is already learning some basics—he knows how to sit and is making great progress with crate training. He sleeps through the night in his crate with his goldendoodle foster sibling and can stay calmly in his crate alone for shorter periods. He’s also doing fantastic with potty training, going to the door or crying when he needs to go out—no accidents in the house!Parson gets along well with other dogs and especially loves his goldendoodle foster sibling, so he might do best in a home with a larger, laid-back dog to help show him the ropes. He’s still in the early stages of leash training but is learning. If you’re looking for a playful, happy pup who’s ready to learn and grow, Parson might just be your perfect match!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.March 7, 2025, 9:28 pm
