Story
This gorgeous Abyssinian mix is Mama Garden. She is the mama of 5 beautiful babies and is very lucky to have found her way to a rescue so she and her babies can thrive in a foster home and ultimately find forever loving homes. Garden is about 2 years old, is very friendly and loving, doesn’t play much, but makes up for it with attention, and she loves to eat! She is especially attached to Rowan, but would be a great pair with any of her babies or with another cat in the adoptive home that she can make friends with. We have no knowledge of how she is with dogs or young children. If interested in meeting her for adoption, please complete an application at rescueangelssomd.com. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and clean and healthy. Indoor homes only, no declawing, and serious committed adopters only.

Story
Meet Amelia! Amelia is a beautiful, petite, Abyssinian cat, about 3-4 years old. She was found living under someone's porch with her 5 kittens.Amelia came into care in May 2022. She is a "Violet," meaning she is very shy and not your typical house cat. She is great in the litterbox but is not a fan (yet) of being pet, although she has allowed her foster mom to give her medicine orally and vaccinate her with no problems. She just needs time to trust people.Amelia will need a patient person who is able to meet her on her own terms. Someone who will let Amelia just "be" - to be in her new home and explore, and when she is comfortable, to come to her new person to be pet. Amelia will need a quiet, low activity home with no children under the age of 13 years old.Because she is a Violet, her adoption fee is greatly reduced pending an approved application. She is dewormed, spayed, received her rabies vaccine, an FVRCP vaccine, tested negative on a combo test, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Story
Do you want a cat to greet you loudly when you walk in the door? Look no further, I'm your man! After a long life with our original owner, my sister and I were left at the shelter when they couldn't take us with them when they moved. But I have no fear—I know my purrever home is out there and I will investigate until I find it!  I truly have no fear; I'm always exploring new areas and new perspectives from the house and will let you know when I've found something interesting. From the moment I landed in my foster home, I went right up to my foster parents to ask for affection, preferring that even over food and snacks. I am a classic Siamese beauty, if I do say so myself, and enjoy when you take some time to appreciate and brush me to keep my coat in tip-top shape. Even though I'm a little small for a Siamese, I live up to the breed's reputation and am very social and loving. I love a nap in the sunshine and on a warm bed, and will happily follow you around the house chatting about your day (and mine).  I'm a sweet boy who just wants the finer things in life: a nice scratching post, a toasty bed, and all the face scratches you can come up with. My foster father says I'm a messy eater, but I want you to know how much I enjoy my wet food. And I'll let you know how happy I am as well, with a deep, rumbly purr ready at a moment's notice.  I really like having companion animals in the home. While I am unbothered by dogs, I would love a cuddly cat to share my space with.  If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Shen is an incredibly sweet boy who is very affectionate and always wanting to snuggle. He loves to cuddle in bed with you and follows you around the house. Because he is a Siamese, he likes to talk.. and sometimes will walk around the house calling for you! I bought him from a breeder 12 years ago when he was a kitten. Unfortunately when my husband brought home a puppy 3 years ago, Shen was not happy. Although the dog and cat co-existed, Shen is jealous of the dog and the dog won't let him cuddle with us. I feel heartbroken to give Shen up but he is very unhappy with the dog. Shen is a very healthy cat and goes every 6 month for routine vet check ups covered by Banfield Wellness plan. If adopted, I would continue to pay the monthly Banfield Wellness plan.
