Story
Charro is a very calm and nurturing Abyssinian, more like a therapy cat as she is always nearby. She loves to give and receive affection. This kitty has a special soul that deserves a loving human or family. She is 10 years old and is on a special diet for kidney disease with low phosphorus food. She is a very healthy eater. She prefers to be the only cat in the home, and does fine with a small mellow dog. For any other information or to set up a meet and greet with Charro in her foster home: Contact Carol, carolrupa@yahoo.com

Story
I am reluctantly seeking a new home for my adorable 4 month old female kitten. Due to my job with the railroad, I'm often away for about four days a week, and I realize she deserves more interaction and affection than I can provide. She’s a lovable little girl who thrives on attention and cuddles. She’s great with both dogs and other cats, making her an ideal companion for a multi-pet household. She’s had her second round of shots, is house-trained, and uses the litter box like a champ. She loves to play and snuggle, and she truly lights up any room she’s in. It breaks my heart to let her go, but I want to ensure she has the loving, attentive home she deserves. If you’re able to provide a nurturing environment for her, please reach out. I would love to find her a wonderful new family! Thank you! 🐾❤️

This kitty has kidney disease and requires a prescription diet, but don't let the diagnosis fool you as she's bright and happy with much love to share. As a senior cat she's a mellow, gentle companion. Charro thrives in a calm home where she can receive lots of affection. She prefers to be the only pet but will tolerate sharing the spotlight with a small, calm cat-friendly dog. Charro's adoption fee has been paid by a donor.

Story
Meet Claudia, a lovely tabby with a stunning coat and a friendly spirit! While she may be a bit shy at first, Claudia quickly warms up with a little patience. She loves pets and has a playful side that will surely charm you. She is also very food motivated and this is definitely a way to quickly win her over. Claudia's journey has been quite remarkable. Rescued from an animal hoarding situation, she was initially skittish, going so far as to run away from a foster home. She spent time in a feral cat colony before deciding she preferred the comforts of indoor life which caused her to start trying to enter the home of a kind human. Now at the adoption center, she's ready to find her forever home. We think she'd do best in an adult-only home or with gentle, older children. Claudia is FIV+, which requires some special care, but it won't impact her overall quality of life. She must be kept indoors. To learn more about FIV, check out this article: https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats Come meet Claudia from 11-5, any day except Tuesday!

Story
Hi! We're Cadbury and Hershey! We were rescued in Doha, Qatar . We were rescued from a colony where a caring human was feeding us and other kitties. She fell in love with us and knew we needed to get off the streets and into a safe and loving home so she took us to a sanctuary where we flourished and showed just how pawsome we are. Then we went to a doctor to be vetted and that’s when they found out we’re FIV+. Unfortunately humans in Qatar think differently about FIV+ cats than they do here in the US. Even knowing how amazing we are, our rescuers knew it would be difficult finding a home there and they worried we might end up back on the streets if in the wrong human hands. We’re extremely handsome, super sweet, very loving and generally calm kitties, although we do have a playful side too! When we first arrived we immediately came out of our carriers to check out things and say hello. I was a tad bit nervous when I first came out of my carrier but after exploring the room a few times, I began asking for pets. After we had a chance to stretch our legs after our long flight and receive some love, it was time to head to our foster home! Yay! We were excited to greet our foster human and check out our foster home when we got here. We settled in nicely and now we’re having such a great time playing, receiving lots of attention, and finally being able to relax and not worry about the dangers and uncertainties we faced when we lived on the streets. This indoor lifestyle is incredible! We get to play chase and tag, eat lots of yummy food and relax with our human. I like to sit by our human’s feet while Hershey likes the higher spots so it works out purrfectly for everyone. And while we both love receiving attention, especially in the morning, we never compete for it. We’re looking for a home together, preferably with a multi-human family so we can receive extra love and attention. We traveled a long way to find our forever home and are so excited to finally have a family to share our love! You can see more of us in our foster home here @returnoftheyeti. Concerned about me being FIV+? There's lots of informative reading material online to free you of any worries. I can live a long healthy life and safely with other cats, meow. Here's one website that offers some important information - Best Friends - FIV FAQs Please note: Cadbury has tested positive for FIV.Cadbury should be adopted with a littermateIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1732435354&src=aap]
