Story
Please contact Dana (DanaCC4C@gmail.com), (925) 586-6408 for more information about this pet.Born around August 5, Butternut is now 3 months old. He's the last of his litter with an interesting light orange coat, but without the traditional tabby striping you'd expect! Butternut is super sweet and affectionate. He takes about a week to adjust to new people and surroundings, but he loves strings and sticks and can be lured out to play. Butternut is easy to pick-up, but isn't one for snuggling much yet. However, he loves pets and will start purring if he knows a petting session is coming, even before you start petting him! His whole body rumbles with the vibration of his constant purrs. He was fostered with a lovely couple and their older kitten. 'They are now comfortable walking around our house and are all okay with being held, at least by us (but maybe not strangers yet).' He is currently fostered with Gigi & Tostada, if you are looking to mix-and-match for a pair. He loves other kitties! If interested, contact Dana at 925-586-6408 or DanaCC4C@gmail.com. Or meet him on Saturday, 11/23, 1-4pm at the Pet Food Express in Walnut Creek. Since he's a baby still, he needs to be adopted with another young kitty for companionship and appropriate social development. And must return to our Cat Hospital in Clayton at 4 months of age for his neuter appointment.November 13, 2024, 6:26 pm

Story
I am reluctantly seeking a new home for my adorable 4 month old female kitten. Due to my job with the railroad, I'm often away for about four days a week, and I realize she deserves more interaction and affection than I can provide. She’s a lovable little girl who thrives on attention and cuddles. She’s great with both dogs and other cats, making her an ideal companion for a multi-pet household. She’s had her second round of shots, is house-trained, and uses the litter box like a champ. She loves to play and snuggle, and she truly lights up any room she’s in. It breaks my heart to let her go, but I want to ensure she has the loving, attentive home she deserves. If you’re able to provide a nurturing environment for her, please reach out. I would love to find her a wonderful new family! Thank you! 🐾❤️

Story
Acampo, CA (near Lodi): Hi, my name is Farah! I am a Siamese mix kitty with beautiful blue eyes, a dark face and creamy patches on my white coat. I’m very affectionate, love to be with my foster mom and adore petting time!  I LOVE play time! I am particularly good at sitting on my hind legs and catching the feather toy! I am also excellent at pouncing on my kitty mum Faye when she’s not expecting it. You can see us in our video together here:  https://youtu.be/3m7omlTDJ7I I was born in October 2020, am spayed, up to date on my vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. I’d prefer to be an “only” pet in a quiet, adults-only home. I’m living in a private foster home so please text or call Karen at 209-329-2001 for more information. You can fill out an adoption application online at https://forms.gle/obNDXM5Q4SbNNDH67 and once you are approved, we can meet via video chat!   October 26, 2024, 8:18 pm

Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with cat experience Would do best in a quiet home, maybe cat savvy kids and teens Bonded Pair Ollivander needs medicine daily to stay happy and healthy Prefers a home without dogs   Ollivander and Pippin an adorable pair of bonded boys. These distinguished gentlemen are waiting patiently for their new home – is it with you? While they’re initially on the reserved side with new people, once you’ve befriended them, their sweet nature just shines through.   Despite being older cats, both Ollivander and Pippin are a playful duo. Ollivander, aka Ollie, prefers playing with toy mice and balls he can chase and is happy to entertain himself. Pippin also likes chasing after mice, but he also really enjoys leaping high in the air to bat at ribbon toys. He’ll keep you entertained with his acrobatics! Both boys seem to be night owls and like to go on late-night escapades where they eat and play after hours. Ollie has a nightly routine where he patrols the house and checks out every room to keep an eye on what’s going on.   As a bonded pair, Ollie and Pippin have a deep connection with each other and are close. They like to sleep near each other under the covers of a blanket or bed, and often they’ll groom each other. Occasionally they’ll have a little spat that quickly resolves once they give one another space if needed.   Ollie is the more outgoing of the pair and loves seeking out attention from his humans. He can still easily startle, so being in a calm home with a patient adopter will be ideal for him. He loves being pet and getting chin scritches! Pippin is also very sweet and friendly; it just takes a little more time and patience for him to get comfortable with people. He also tends to be very protective of Ollie and may get defensive if you pet Ollie while Pippin is right next to him. A great way to win Pippin’s trust is by offering treats. Both cats are very food motivated, which is convenient as Ollie takes a heart medication pill. It’s very easy to administer—he practically prefers his pill pocket treat more than his actual food!   Ollivander and Pippin are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form!  November 10, 2024, 1:57 pm
