This energetic girl is always on the lookout for fun, whether she’s watching nature videos on YouTube, wrestling with her siblings, or playfully teasing the older resident cats. She’s fearless around other kitties and thrives with a high-energy companion who loves to chase and wrestle as much as she does. My siblings and I are loud purr machines! When playtime winds down, Tiger Lily shows her sweet side. She loves being held and relaxing with her siblings and human, always preferring to be where the action (or snuggles) are. A true explorer, she can’t resist testing out all the kitty beds in the house—even if they don’t belong to her! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***Food Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We ‘ve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***Post Adoption Support It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. Sid is a lover boy who is ready for adoption. He is neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. Sid is good with other cats and dogs, big and small. He is a character and keeps us entertained by antics such as putting his paws in his food dish when eating. He is a true gem!

Looks and acts like a kitten still. She loves toys. She does need to be brushed regularly because of her longer hair. She gets a little skittish around kids, so a quiet and calm home works best for her. Bonnie was raised with a dog and other cats. Clyde is a short haired, social butterfly. He loves everyone that comes in contact with him and they love him too. Very social and has been raised around a dog. These two are looking for a new home together, as their owner is moving and cannot take them. They are 10 years old, so still have a lot of life left in front of them, and a lot of love left to give. Home to Home Program Contact: Trevor at 530-417-2330 This is Lily and she's 13 or 14 years old and she's all up to date on shots. She also got a full blood panel last year and everything looked great. She just doesn't like other animals and will always hiss at other dogs and cats, but she is great with people. Her current owners inherited her when her elderly owner passed away, and she is very unhappy in her current living situation, it's just too much for her. She had been living in the guest bedroom but the couple is pregnant now so she has been relocated to the bathroom, and it's just too small to keep her locked in there all the time, so they are hoping to find a good and happier home for her.
