Story
Meet Lilianna! She is a 4-year-old, 22 lb, Yorkie Terrier mix who was found as a stray in CA and is currently in a foster home. She is shy and skittish, and it will take some time to win her heart. She can be nervous and does not enjoy long car rides or new places. She is potty trained/house trained. She is a happy dog with lots of energy. She is very smart and playful with other dogs. She would love to have another dog in the home. She could possibly be an only dog but she would need a home where someone is home most of the time. She is extremely smart but has a sense of independence. She's stubborn and will listen when she's ready. She is a high flight risk since she won't come on command. She is quick and will dart out an open door and can be an escape artist. Due to her tendency to run, we are looking for a home for her within a 10-mile radius of the Edmonds area. We are looking for an adult only home for her with no children or grandchildren. She is spayed and microchipped. She's up to date on vaccination, and her fee is $550.

Story
Animal Profile: Bella was found running in traffic in Turlock, but luckily wound up at animal services instead of meeting an untimely demise. She’s dog friendly, and social with people but has little experience on leash. She’s estimated to be 5 years old and weighs 15lbs. She’s exudes that scruffy, sassy terrier charm. Foster Update: With her scruffy fur, short legs, and round body, and endearing underbite, Bella looks like an adorable Terrier + Corgi + Pekinese mix. There really is no cure for the crush you’re going to have on her, except, of course, making her yours. Bella is a typical terrier type; she’s opinionated and needs someone to let her know it’s not her job to police things. She can be tentative when first meeting new people, but does warm up quickly after proper intros. Bella has made great strides on her leash manners in foster care, this girl is even treadmill trained! Bella is social with other dogs, but doesn’t appreciate new dogs right up in her face. She’s comfortable providing firm, but fair corrections if a dog steps over the line. Bella is currently living with another dog and exists peacefully with him. She would be ok with or without a respectful canine companion in her forever home. Bella is house trained, crate trained, and looking for a home with dog experience.           Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from Turlock Animal Services. Arriving  to Seattle area foster care on 08/25/2024. He will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.December 3, 2024, 4:47 pm

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Violet from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 5 yr old female Yorkshire Terrier.  I am about 9 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive everyday and was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail at  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.
