She can be nervous in new environments and does not enjoy long car rides or unfamiliar places. Lilianna thrives on routine and feels safest in a calm, predictable home. Axel is the easiest “yes” you'll ever give. He's happy, playful, and completely unbothered. He crashes wherever he lands, sleeps the second the lights go out, and wakes up ready to do it all again. He loves chasing his brother around the yard, then snuggling up with him when it's all over. He's also surprisingly dialed in. Potty training is clicking fast: He uses his pad reliably inside, gives good cues when he needs to go, and has even been known to hold it while his foster is out, then head straight outside the moment he gets the chance. That's a very good, very smart boy! Axel is social and loves people, but he's also perfectly content to hang out on his own for a while without making it a whole thing. He does great with other dogs, does great with kids, and he’s \ food motivated…sometimes. He'll work for a treat, but he's not going to lose his mind over one. Sounds too good to be true, huh? We know, but…it’s all true. Axel is genuinely the bestest good boy, and whatever family gets him is going to feel very lucky, very quickly. -----  A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters: Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:  ✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.  ✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).  ✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.  The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.  Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.  Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
