Story
This tiny nugget is Mills. When they say great things come in small packages, they are referring to him. This little guy is currently right at three pounds and around three months old. He has all of the characteristics and appearance of a Yorkshire terrier, but in rescue we cannot guarantee the breed. We can’t believe this handsome guy landed in Rescue, but we will help him find a perfect family. Watch Mills' video here: He and his sister are truly model puppies they play and roughhouse together, some, but love to snuggle for naps next to you on the sofa. Although he’s been with us a short time, he and his sister have not been big barkers. He is a very smart puppy and is already using the potty pads inside of his space, but prefers to do his business outside. He and his sister are really good, easy-going puppies. They have been fostered with quite a few different small dogs and even a big dog and seem to get along with everyone. During their behavior assessment, he even respectfully tried to interact with the cat He is looking for a family that will continue to train, socialize, and spend the time to help him continue to be the BEST boy ever. What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his life as well as the life of another in its place. Mills is fostered in Houston Texas but available to transport to our many friends and states. He’s waiting to find his perfect family to grow up, is that you?? Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6716e2683bacc19e58040b89 Please email stephanie@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,600.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
We Adopted Cassie 10 months ago because our older male dog had a stroke and passed away. Our smaller female yorkie stopped eating and stopped playing for months. We took her to the vet and she asked if we might get another dog. We decided to adopt. We found Cassie at a rescue & fell in love with her. The 2 dogs played & got along fine. After moving to Utah things changed with her. She got very jealous of my husband & I with our little Yorkie & attack her several times but she was fine with my daughters dogs (we were staying there while our house was finished being built. My daughter is keeping her 1 mile away from our house until we can find a new home for her. We love & Miss her but we have to protect our first dog 5 yrs. Old Cassie is lovable 7 years. She loves people & is doing fine with our daughters dogs that are older.♥️

Story
Monkey is a 10.5 year old, 10lb Yorkie, with lighter hair than her sister Coco. They have been together their whole lives and are bonded. These precious and most utterly sweet ladies came to be a part of the CAWS family because their 2 legged mommy went into assisted care. They are doing astoundingly wonderful in their foster home and get along great with all the other 4 legged siblings, big and small, male and female, neither have a mean bone in their little body. They recently had bloodwork, which had good results, and dentals done. Monkey had 7 teeth extracted and Coco had 8 teeth extracted. Both numerous warts/lumps which are very common with the Yorkie breed were removed. They will require regular grooming. Both are house trained as long as they are let outside on a regular basis. Monkey barks and carries on if she is crated for a while and to be let back in the house, so these little ladies cannot go to an apartment, they will need to go to a home with a yard and where if they do bark or whine a little to be let back in won’t bother the neighbors. They should go to a home with older or no children as they are small and fragile, could get stepped on or trampled. Both cuddle with their people on the couch and sleep with them at night. Both give the most precious kisses. Monkey likes to put her front paws around your neck and give soft superb kisses. These precious gals need a forever safe and secure home to take care of them now for the rest of their little lives, whoever adopts Monkey and Coco will get such devoted and loyal cuddle buddies. If you are in a position to provide then an everlasting home, please arrange a meet and greet.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Their adoption fee is $375 for both Monkey and Coco.
