Meet your new buddy, Jimmy! His favorite pastime is snuggling on laps and looking lovingly into people's eyes.
Jimmy is a little guy, weighing just 13 pounds. We think he is a yorkshire terrier/chihuahua mix, but we aren't really sure so we just call him our Texas Special, the very best breed. Oh, did you see his big ears and adorable underbite?? He's so cute!!
Jimmy is being fostered in a home with 7 other small dogs, male and female and spends many weekends with the foster’s grand dogs who are 75 and 120 pounds. He loves all the dogs and is happy to share his foster’s lap and cozy up to his furry friends. This little guy is calm, enjoys going outside, walking around the yard and lounging in the sun!
Looking to grab a morning coffee? Don’t forget Jimmy, but he will want a pup cup! Late night ice cream run?? He will happily join you. Jimmy rides great in the car making him the perfect adventure buddy. He is a dream on the leash and enjoys walks in the park. He is a little guy, so a mile is about it for him, but he’s little enough you can put him in a stroller or a doggie purse. He is pretty much perfection!

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $1600 and includes all vetting: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
