Meet Delia Delia is about 12 weeks old, weighs 5.7 pounds and is a typical happy, playful puppy! She is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. She was rescued with her sister Lydia from a shelter near the border of Mexico. We are so happy they are both safe with us. We can see Delia doing well in a home where she can get lots of attention and playtime with her family. She is curious, playful and also enjoys being held. She enjoys playing with toys and her sister. She is just a fun-loving puppy who can’t wait to find a home of his own! She would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. Delia is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and her adoption fee is $375. Cody is an extremely debonair 8-pound little Yorkie Mix. The vet thinks he is about 8 yr old. Cody has been in our foster home for a while. Our primary issue has been to work on his tolerance for grooming especially around his face. Despite doing a neuter and dental when he was first rescued, in less than a year the vet determined on exam he had an ear infection and needed a dental again. He was having heavy eye discharge which he objected to for any cleaning. He had multiple teeth extracted and following that his ear cleared. Since then, he has had almost no eye discharge. He tolerates his nails cut and his body groomed but is still uncomfortable with trimming hair off his feet and face but is improving. Cody loves to wander outside especially if he knows you are in the area. He also has his favorite “man cave“ in the yard and can often be found there if he fails to show up for dinner. Cody tolerates the other dogs but prefers to have a quiet bed away from the rowdies. He loves attention and will go to a lap for a belly rub and can easily be picked up for hugs. He sleeps and eats in a kennel. He is only loud at mealtime trying to out sing everybody else saying “Me first, me first" and when he thinks he has been left outside too long. Cody is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and is heartworm negative and had a recent dental. Poppet is an approximately 9 week old (as of 1/18) female yorkie mix. She is extremely small, weighing just at 2 pounds. Her mom is a yorkie mix weighing about 5 pounds while dad is unknown. Poppet is a sweet and energetic puppy that loves to hang with the other dogs in her foster home and her foster humans. She is young, so her personality continues to come out as she grows. She is not potty trained yet but working on it, and a new home would also need to expect to continue potty training (as well as all the other training that comes with raising a puppy!) Due to her current and expected adult size being so small, she will need a very secure fence and living area so that she can’t easily escape or find herself lost. Poppet would do best in a home with other dogs and humans that are home often enough to train a teacup size puppy. Poppet is too small currently for her spay, so she will need to wait til she’s over 12 weeks old. We will work with any potential adopters on the best option for either getting her to her spay appointment or waiting until she’s big enough before moving in with a new family. She has had her age appropriate vaccines, but will need to complete her rounds in a furever home. If you are interested in adopting Poppet. Her adoption fee is $450.
