Meet Pika, a 5-month-old tiny terrier mix with the sweetest little face and the most delicate personality. She currently weighs just 4 pounds and is expected to remain very small. There’s some speculation that she may have a bit of Yorkie in her mix, but with rescue pups you never truly know. One thing is certain though… she is absolutely adorable. Pika is a dainty little girl who loves to be held and cuddled. Being carried around or snuggled up in your arms is her idea of the perfect day. She has a gentle, affectionate personality and enjoys soaking up attention from her people. She enjoys playing with other dogs and gets along well with them, but she’s a sensitive little lady and can get her feelings hurt if playtime becomes too rough. She does best with calmer, gentle dog friends who understand that she’s a tiny pup. Pika is also great with cats. Due to her very small size, Pika will need a home without small children to ensure she stays safe. She deserves a calm home where she can be loved, protected, and completely pampered like the fragile little princess she is. 🩷 ADOPT CORALINE 🩷 This beautiful little princess is a special girl and she needs a family! Coraline’s about 7 months old and 10 pounds. She’s a Yorkshire Terrier and sweet as can be! Coraline needs to have heart surgery in July, we can take her down to Houston when it’s time but until then she needs to either be an only dog or in a home with lazy dogs who don’t like to play more than a couple minutes. She hasn’t been spayed yet, she’ll have that done with her surgery. She’ll need to stay in the hospital for a few days, maybe a week, when she goes. Coraline recently had her vaccines and a fresh haircut! She’ll stay under the rescue until she has her surgery, she’s also on a liquid medication for her heart, Friends United in Rescue will cover those meds and her surgery, with the help of our lovely community. Meet Gwyneth!Gwyneth is a 7 year old Yorkie mix little girl, who was rescued from a breeder. As such she will need a home that is very patient with her. She’s still learning to trust people; she doesn’t come to you willingly, but she will follow you at a safe distance. She is skittish around men. She is crate trained and will go into her crate willingly when she needs a break. She is dog friendly. She uses potty pads almost completely. She is food motivated, so that has helped with training. She did have to have 5 teeth pulled, but this has not caused her any problems eating dry food. She has been spayed and all her vaccines are up-to-date. With time and patience, she will be the sweetest pup. Meet Lylah!Lylah is the sweetest little 4 year-old and 6.5 pound Yorkshire Terrier mix girl, who loves head scritches, back scratches and belly rubs. To show her appreciation, she will give you one little kiss on the tip of your nose. She is afraid of new people, so her adopter will need to know she will likely need to decompress for 24 hours and it will may take a week until she starts to trust them.Lylah was a breeder surrender who came to the rescue in October 2025 with 30 other dogs. It took her a little bit to open up, but she quickly became her foster`s shadow and loves to stay close. She had a surprise for everyone when she went in for a checkup and was found to be pregnant. She raised her puppies perfectly, had her surgery and is now ready to be an independent lady in her own home.Lylah gets along with children, however she prefers a quiet atmosphere, so she prefers older children as they tend to be calmer. She can occasionally resource guard an item from other dogs. She eats slowly and likes to carry her food around, so she gets fed her in her playpen.Lylah is very gentle and gets along with other small dogs, but prefers when they are calm. She would also be great as a single dog. She is crate trained, and working on leash training, but she still finds it a little scary.
