Meet precious Autumn, an 5-6 year old, 8 pound Yorkie girl being fostered in Georgetown, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered. Oh my goodness! We have a lot to share about this absolutely adorable little girl. She has been with her foster family for 2 months and what an absolute fun, energetic, kind lovable angel. She is full of life and she never stops playing, eating, and being a love bug. If your family has a very very playful Yorkie and a playful large dog then this is the baby you have been looking for. Autumn would be best with another young Yorkie that wants a buddy to be by her side...she is very energetic and wants to be on the go every minute.. Autumn will get in your lap and snuggle in your arms then turn her face sideways so she can get lots of kisses. She loves to be outdoors, go for walks, (could use a little training on that part) lol ride in the car, and most of all play play play. She would do best with someone that is home most of the time since she does thrive on attention and play time. She has no aggression to other dogs, people, or food...she respects other dogs' space and eating time. Autumn hasn’t been around children at her foster home but children around 8 or older would be perfect for them because she loves to be playful and go for walks. I forgot to mention that she is very spoiled! She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, had her dental. Meet Riley, a 13 year old, 9 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Georgetown, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered. Hello to all my potential furever families! My name is Riley and I am so so so happy to have been rescued by the UYR team! The picture UYR took of me was right after my haircut. It's the first haircut I have had in over 18 months. I still was not certain that anything had changed for me and I don't look very happy. I don't know time, but I can tell you that I feel like I was put in jail for some reason that I don't understand. I don't have too much memory about all of that time, I just know I was always hungry, itchy, and hurting. Foster Mom says I was depressed because of the NEGLECT. She says that word has to be in all capitals because it's a very bad word. I was once a very happy healthy 12 lb yorkie boy. But something in my life changed and I was no longer being cared for like I once was. Nobody was feeding me regularly, taking me outside in the sunshine regularly, or getting my haircut regularly. The NEGLECT during this time has made me drop down to 9 lbs, have very red and swollen feet and skin, infected ears, and bowed out legs. Foster Mom says no furbaby should ever lose a fourth of their entire body in such a short period of time!!!! The NEGLECT is very very bad indeed! All the nice people at UYR and my new dogter have said I never have to worry about the NEGLECT again. I still have a ways to go yet, but I am feeling much better. I have foster siblings to play with, am taking medicine, eating regularly, taking nice baths, and taking short walks out in the sunshine! Foster Mom says all of this will help me heal from the NEGLECT. I am also starting to dream about a furever family. I would like a family that will let me continue to do all of these things and never ever ever think about the NEGLECT again. Meet Wolfie, a handsome 12 year old, 14 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Leander, TX. Wolfie is one of a bonded pair, and he and Tilly will need to be adopted together. Only Texas applicants will be considered. It is our pleasure to introduce you to Wolfgang aka Wolfie. He is a male yorkie that is estimated to be 12 years young and weighs 14.5 lbs. As you can see from his photos, Wolfie is a very handsome little fellow with classic yorkie good looks aka a heartbreaker. Wolfie recently came into the care of UYR with his fur-sister Muttilda aka Tilly under very sad circumstances. Wolfie and Tilly had a wonderful owner that loved and cared for them for over ten years. Unfortunately, their owner became unable to take care of her beloved fur-babies. Family members contacted UYR for help with finding Wolfie and Tilly a new loving forever home. Wolfie and Tilly are a bonded pair that have been together for the past ten years and therefore will need to remain together. Wolfie is neutered and up to date on all shots and is scheduled for a dental cleaning. He will also have a bump removed from his right shoulder during the dental surgery. Wolfie has been a perfect house guest at his foster home so far, he is potty trained, very calm, very sweet, and just an overall good boy. He likes to play with toys and loves to go for walks. He also enjoys exploring the backyard and laying in the sun when the weather is just right. So if you happen to be looking for two fun loving, easy going, laid back, super sweet dogs that love everyone they meet, look no further than Wolfie and Tilly. Meet Tilly & Wolfie, being fostered in Leander, TX. They are a bonded pair and they must be adopted together. Only Texas applicants will be considered.Tilly and her brother Wolfie (a bonded pair) have been thriving in their foster home as they are patiently waiting for their new forever family to find them. Their foster parents say that they are two of the best dogs they have ever met and that whoever ends up adopting them will be VERY lucky. Tilly is as sweet as they come and has never met a stranger. She greets anyone she meets with lots of love and if given the chance lots of kisses. She likes to sleep in bed with her foster family and she is an expert snuggler. If you are looking for a lap dog or cuddle buddy, Tilly is your girl. Wolfie is a sweet little guy that just wants to be next to his humans at all times. His foster mom says that he watches her every move throughout the day with big hearts in his eyes. He is such a good boy that has so much love to shower his new family with. Both babies are so full of love. Wolfie & Tilly have been on several road trips with their fosters and they were also great travel companions. Wolfie and Tilly are 100% vetted along with having dentals and are very very healthy. Vetting will only consist of continuing with their monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention meds. Both babies are a very young 12yrs old and they both have very puppy like attitudes. These babies can have up to 8 more years of love to give you and your family! Meet Tilly, a beautiful 12 year old, 13 pound Yorkie Mix girl being fostered in Leander, TX. She is one of a bonded pair with Wolfie 12 years and 14 Lbs and they must be adopted together. Only Texas applicants will be considered. Wolfie and Tilly are continuing to do very well in their foster home. They get along super well with the resident pups and might even be caught snuggling with one of them from time to time. Wolfie has finally settled down and does not exhibit an excessive amount of separation anxiety, but still prefers if someone is home with him. As does Tilly, but without so many vocal disapprovals. They both enjoy their walks in the morning and Wolfie enjoys sunning on the patio in the afternoon. They are perfect house guests and are very comfortable in their foster home. Meet Violet, a 10 pound, 2-3 year old Yorkie girl being fostered in Southern Texas. Only Texas applicants will be considered. Miss Violet recently came to UYR with her 2 brothers, Theo and Nugget who were in an abusive home situation. Violet, who is about 3 years old, didnt have a lot of exposure to humans and the outside world. She is a very very sweet girl who takes time to warm up and then falls in love with you. With strangers it takes time to get to know you and then she barks at you next time she sees you. lol lol.She is starting to relax and now zooms around and plays with the puppy in her foster home. She is having fun being outside and greeting new strangers that walk by her yard with a bark that protects her new home. We are waiting to see if this little girl may have some babies of her own so we will have to get back to you on that one soon. Miss Violet will be a wonderful addition to a family who has patience and is willing to help her transition to a loving companion. She would thrive with a family where there are no children so she can slowly get used to her new space.
