Meet Toto!!Sweet, shy Toto is looking for his forever home! We don't know much about his past but it's safe to say he did not have a lot of human interaction. He's been with me a few months now and has come such a long way! He gets along well with all my other dogs. He loves to be outside so a fenced in yard is ideal. He has been fully vetted and housebroken. Yay! We are working on leash training. It will take him a bit to warm up to strangers so please have patience. We are guessing that he is around 5 or 6 years old. He appears to be a terrier (possibly border terrier) mix. He has the cutest little underbite and Justin Bieber hair! We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. Little Ms. Brandi is a pure cuddle-bug!! She is blind, but that doesn't seem to slow her down, she follows right along for a walk. She's friendly and just loves to sit in your lap for a cuddle. Brandi is in foster, so please call the shelter if you would like to meet her 256-851-4088.

Penny is a sweet little girl who gets along well with both dogs and cats. She also knows how to use a dog door to go out and potty. Her favorite things are laying by the glass doors to watch the squirrels and birds and laying in the sunshine. She is very shy but has made some improvements since moving in to her foster home. Penny would make a great addition to a home that is willing to give her a little more time to learn humans can be kind.
