Story
Tinker is brand new to BR so we are still learning about her. We do know she was in a breeding situation and was kept outside in a pen her entire life. She is now spayed and had a dental at the shelter and we do know she has a hernia that will need to be surgically repaired. She is an anxious but very sweet little think and we'll keep you posted as we learn more! She does seem to warm up quickly and seems to like to be held! She is available for adoption and Bonaparte's would take care of the cost of the hernia surgery.November 18, 2024, 4:24 pm

Story
Sugar Bear is a shy and cutie pie male Yorkie/Terrier mix that is just a young 3 year old who weighs 11 pounds.   You can see in his little scruffy face that he is trying to be brave and confident.  It just has not come easy for him to even go out in public until recently.  This boy needs someone that will talk to him in a confident tone of voice, who will take him for daily walks, go to Home Depot and walk around and see people, go to PetSmart and pick out a toy, or even go to a dog park where he can sit on the sidelines and just watch all the other confident dogs have fun. You have to help Sugar Bear trust the world and the people around him. He will be scared at first and we think Sugar Bear would need another dog to show him the ropes.  He will need time to warm up over days and maybe a few weeks.  Once he is there with you, then he is there forever.  He gets along great with other dogs and could certainly live with a cat as well.   We are requiring a fenced in yard  and he does walk nicely on a leash.   There are some training tricks that we can share with a new owner that will build his confidence.  If you would like to find purpose in this world and give a shy boy a great home and watch him blossom in your love and care, then Sugar Bear is the dog to adopt.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 27, 2024, 1:06 pm

Story
Marley May is a sweet girl weighing 11 lbs. She is approximately 3 years old and being fostered in Murfreesboro, TN. We prefer Marley to be adopted no more than 200 miles from her foster home, however all applications will be considered if its the right fit for Marley. Sweet Marley May’s personality is emerging. She is energetic, friendly, loves to play with squeaky toys and enjoys belly rubs. She lets her human’s pick her up when she needs to get in the car and continues to engage her foster siblings in play. She has the spirit of a puppy. She enjoys treats and is learning to walk on a leash. Marley sleeps in her doggie bed on her foster dad’s side. Marley is continuing to progress in her house training. Marley is a cutie pie and would make a wonderful companion. Any questions email foster parents at jam4bama@unitedyorkierescue.com. To donate to her care or to fill out an application go to www.uyr.us.
