Story
KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 After Alice’s owner passed away unexpectedly in an accident, her sister reached out to us for help in finding homes for several small dogs, mostly Yorkies, that she was breeding. The dogs needed to be relocated by October 8th. Our foster mom cared for Alice and her three male puppies, born on September 11th, since they were about a week old. The puppies have already had their tail docked and dewclaws removed. Alice has been spayed and has found a wonderful home. These puppies are tiny and would not be suitable for households with young children. M2 has been adopted, while M1 is has an approved application. M3 is still available, but he has an overbite, which may lead to dental problems as an adult. Therefore, his adoption donation has been reduced to $675, with a $100 neuter refund.   Adoption Donation is $675 with $100 neuter refund. Story
KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Dobby is a playful, affectionate, and happy 6-month-old Yorkie. He enjoys keeping you informed about everything happening around him. This breed is known for barking frequently and being vigilant in alerting their owners to any unusual sights or sounds. Dobby is very social but can be a bit reserved around strangers. He gets along well with other small dogs, but when confronted by a larger dog, he tends to act tough. Despite his small size, his courage in facing larger animals is typical for a Yorkie. When faced with perceived dangers, a Yorkie's bark showcases their strong protective instincts. Dobby is a little guy and would be best suited for a home without young children. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. The time has come for Minnie Mouse to find her forever home! She has overcome death, and made a miraculous recovery here in in rescue. She does have some lifelong medical conditions that will require ongoing medical care, a strict prescription food diet, medication, and may have some costly vet care in her lifetime. Any adopter should be sure they can financially take her on before applying! Minnie Mouse came to us lifeless, with no body fat, no fur, and little hope of survival, but this girl is a fighter and just celebrated her second birthday! She weighs 10 pounds and is the sweetest, happiest little Shorkie you will ever meet. Minnie Mouse is crate trained, leash trained, and loves car rides. She does use peepads and potties outside, but her EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) does cause some extra pee to occur and she may have accidents if not on a consistent bathroom schedule. Minnie Mouse does take daily medication and eats prescription food that must be continued as her condition can become deadly if treatment isn't followed. She is super easy to care for, a great eater, and cooperates for her weekly baths too! We are open to a local to Lebanon PA foster to adopt home or a straight adoptive home for this little girl. We are always a support system for our adopters and can be available to assist with any questions or concerns throughout Minnie Mouse's life in a new home. She has come so far since February, and now it's time she finds a loving home to call her own..... To adopt Minnie Mouse, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, biopsies, specialist visits with additional diagnostics, dental, and all the love you can handle! Story
Meet Snowy, Snickers, and Ginger! These three boys are all about 3 years old and were saved from the same commercial breeding facility in Lancaster County. They were given up because this particular puppy mill has decided to shut down 🥳🥳 The boys have started to giving us their trust as well as all their love, and we are confident they will make wonderful family members for the lucky families that get to call them their own! They had a very difficult life before coming to us, being used as a tool to make money, but will never be wanted for anything more than the love they can give. They will be cherished and loved the way they were always supposed to be for the rest of their days. They will require a family who understands their past, and is patient with them as she transition to living life in a home and around kind people. Our surviving breeder dogs are always extremely special, and we promise you there is no love out there that compares to theirs! This should go without saying, but we require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY. Please apply to be considered at our website www.angelsretreat.org! 💕🐾 If you are interested in contributing or learning more about puppy mill dogs, please go to the following link: https://angelsretreat.org/special-progams-for-special-dogs/mill-mamas/
