Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. The time has come for Minnie Mouse to find her forever home! She has overcome death, and made a miraculous recovery here in in rescue. She does have some lifelong medical conditions that will require ongoing medical care, a strict prescription food diet, medication, and may have some costly vet care in her lifetime. Any adopter should be sure they can financially take her on before applying! Minnie Mouse came to us lifeless, with no body fat, no fur, and little hope of survival, but this girl is a fighter and just celebrated her second birthday! She weighs 10 pounds and is the sweetest, happiest little Shorkie you will ever meet. Minnie Mouse is crate trained, leash trained, and loves car rides. She does use peepads and potties outside, but her EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) does cause some extra pee to occur and she may have accidents if not on a consistent bathroom schedule. Minnie Mouse does take daily medication and eats prescription food that must be continued as her condition can become deadly if treatment isn't followed. She is super easy to care for, a great eater, and cooperates for her weekly baths too! We are open to a local to Lebanon PA foster to adopt home or a straight adoptive home for this little girl. We are always a support system for our adopters and can be available to assist with any questions or concerns throughout Minnie Mouse's life in a new home. She has come so far since February, and now it's time she finds a loving home to call her own..... To adopt Minnie Mouse, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, biopsies, specialist visits with additional diagnostics, dental, and all the love you can handle! Story
This spunky little guy is Gunner. He is one of the most adorable dogs that I’ve fostered in a while…he is VERY adventurous, VERY active, VERY outgoing and has a zest for life. That being said, I feel confident in saying that he is going to be a whole lot of fun for some lucky family. He is a super friendly and happy guy as well and he adores everyone that he meets…adults, kids (NO SMALL KIDS) and other dogs. Given his activity level, he will need to be adopted by an ACTIVE family. Gunner has been crated a lot in his previous home and hasn’t really been taught many everyday manners and what is expected or not expected of him. He would greatly benefit from some training classes or at least someone to work with him. Given his activity level, he will need to be adopted by an ACTIVE family and one that is willing to work with him and/or take him to training class. Gunner is 1 ½ years old (dob 5/22/23) and weighs 10 pounds. He has been neutered, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Gunner is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

DOB Christmas Day 12-25-2023 Kevin is for sure an angel. He loves to play with the other pups, toys and is social. Kevin is neutered, heartworm negative and has received a Proheart 6 preventative injection. His adoption fee is 950.00, transport fee is 165.00 and paid to our transport company, HEARTS LLC He will get a physical and health certificate before he leaves. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
