KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 After Alice’s owner passed away unexpectedly in an accident, her sister reached out to us for help in finding homes for several small dogs, mostly Yorkies, that she was breeding. The dogs needed to be relocated by October 8th. Our foster mom cared for Alice and her three male puppies, born on September 11th, since they were about a week old. The puppies have already had their tail docked and dewclaws removed. Alice has been spayed and has found a wonderful home. These puppies are tiny and would not be suitable for households with young children. M2 has been adopted, while M1 is has an approved application. M3 is still available, but he has an overbite, which may lead to dental problems as an adult. Therefore, his adoption donation has been reduced to $675, with a $100 neuter refund. We adopted Ollie from a coworker when he was puppy 10 years ago. He is an excellent snuggler and loves to go for walks. He is gentle with our toddlers but can be overwhelming to outside kids as he seems to see littles ones as playmates. He is very protective, but is not aggressive other than barking at strangers or the Amazon delivery man. We now have a busy life with work and small kids and can no longer give him the attention he needs. He would do best in a home without cats, and likely will be ok with other dogs.

adoption donation : To be determined weight 16 lbs Age: 1 year and 3 years Bert and his brother Ernie are full brothers, but were born two years apart, Bert is the younger of the two, he has a stubby tail and loves to run and play. Ernie has shorter legs and a longer, fuller tail, and he is just a cuddle bug, he really just wants to be on your lap! Bert and Ernie are sweet and loving dogs who really love each other. They cuddle together and chase and play, they would love to stay together. They appear to be some kind of Yorkie terrier mixes, and may have some miniature schnauzer in them as well. They are both 16 pounds Bert and Ernie’s original owners in Mississippi had a house full of small dogs, but recently were evicted from their home and so wag stepped into help, getting the dogs, spayed and neutered and vaccinated, and looking for loving homes. Now it’s Bert and Ernie’s turn! Both boys have had their vaccinations and has been neutered. Both Bert and Ernie are coming up to the northeast on Friday, December 20 ready to find loving families of their own, hopefully for the holidays! Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use.
