While he does love pets and snuggles, he is definitely not your typical small lap dog ! Harvey needs an active family to keep up with his busy bee energy. 🐝 Harvey is good with other dogs and loves children. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard and either school age children and/or another active dog to play with. Harvey would not do well with a sedimentary lifestyle, he is a go-go-go boy and needs lots of interactive play, walks and attention. 🐾 Harvey is crate and house trained. Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families. We have many sponsorship dogs. My last house had 148 dogs and it was REALLY nasty!!! The authorities finally came and got us all!! Here at the ranch I get spa days and the food is real good and we have a huge field to play in!! My best friend is Layla. She is really scared so I stay close to her so she feels safe and hopefully at some point she will start to trust humans again. The volunteers are really nice. They hold us and talk to us and its VERY different from what we were used to! Lewie is a sweet boy that was surrendered to us because the owner claimed to have allergies. He is about a year and a half old and weighs about 17 lbs. Lewie is a little shy at first but then just wants to be loved. He is neutered, UTD on required vaccines, HW tested negative and microchipped. He does seem to be housetrained. He is also a little shy around other dogs but would slowly warm up. He is not aggressive in any way but he is a little afraid at first. He just needs a safe secure loving home and family. Because of his initial shyness we will be looking for a home with no small children.
