Story
This cutie is Lizzy, a very shy but sweet yorkie. Lizzy takes a while to warm up to people, and is nervous about new places. But once you do get to know Lizzy, she likes to lay in your lap for chin scratches or lean over your shoulder like a little baby for back scratches. Lizzy is still working on potty training so she wears a diaper if she`s not going to go outside for a while. She has a new best friend, another foster in the house called Bandit, and he has really helped her learn that it`s ok to run and have fun outside for a while, which is good for both of them! They like to sleep in their doggy beds next to each other, and Lizzy is very entertained by Bandit playing fetch or making his toys squeak. They run around each other in circles, and Lizzy gets wiggly with tail wagging excitement. So though Lizzy is shy, she is so much fun to have around when she warms up and relaxes with new people. She likes to let her tongue hang out, and it is really cute. She will lay next to you on a pillow, blanket, sweater, or even the windowsill, and it`s very sweet. She looking for someone patient and caring who can help me continue to grow and feel safe, another dog her size and energy is what she needs. She is a quiet girl around 5 years old and fully vetted. Her adoption fee is $320.00 (or $450 for Both Bandit and Lizzy) If you think we could be a good match, she love to meet you! Please go to our website - OFOSA.ORG and fill out the application and her foster mom will contact you.

Story
This tiny nugget is Mills. When they say great things come in small packages, they are referring to him. This little guy is currently right at three pounds and around three months old. He has all of the characteristics and appearance of a Yorkshire terrier, but in rescue we cannot guarantee the breed. We can’t believe this handsome guy landed in Rescue, but we will help him find a perfect family. Watch Mills' video here: He and his sister are truly model puppies they play and roughhouse together, some, but love to snuggle for naps next to you on the sofa. Although he’s been with us a short time, he and his sister have not been big barkers. He is a very smart puppy and is already using the potty pads inside of his space, but prefers to do his business outside. He and his sister are really good, easy-going puppies. They have been fostered with quite a few different small dogs and even a big dog and seem to get along with everyone. During their behavior assessment, he even respectfully tried to interact with the cat He is looking for a family that will continue to train, socialize, and spend the time to help him continue to be the BEST boy ever. What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his life as well as the life of another in its place. Mills is fostered in Houston Texas but available to transport to our many friends and states. He’s waiting to find his perfect family to grow up, is that you?? Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6716e2683bacc19e58040b89 Please email stephanie@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. The adoption fee is $1,600.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
We got Roxy from a breeder about 8 months ago as a companion for our other Yorkie. She is 3 years old, 7 pounds, 100% Yorkshire Terrier, and never had a litter. Roxy is an absolute sweetheart, very affectionate. She will snuggle in your lap all day long if you let her. She is shy around new people but warms up quickly and almost always comes when called. House training is ongoing but we have been seeing some success using a clicker and treats. We love Roxy, but despite being shy she has become a bully to our other dog, picking fights on occasion. Roxy will likely do best in a household with no other dogs (we don’t know about cats) and with people who can patiently continue to work on the potty training. She never learned to walk on a leash and isn’t especially fond of walks, but I think that can change with patient and dedicated owners. This has not been an easy decision for us. We are looking for just the right family because above all we want her to have a good life.

These pups are in Beaverton, Oregon too!

Story
Gizmo is a sweet little dog, very playful and loves other dogs. Because he has some trust issues from a nasty human at some point other dogs make him so much more comfortable so I think it’s important that there’s a dog in the house for him. He really likes to play because he’s young and he has a great time with my three year-old schnauzer. The senior pitbull in the house is his favorite dog though and he just loves her. He’s very respectful of other dogs and doesn’t bug anybody if they don’t want to play. If you’re soft and patient with him, it doesn’t take him long to start trusting as he wants love so badly. He doesn’t like to get picked up . He loves his walks with his pack- but gets nervous if it’s only him. please submit an application https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159 ##2196986##
