Story
Hello there, I'm Charles! I'm a Yorkie mix and I've got a heart full of love to give. I'm known around here for my friendly demeanor and sweet nature. I'm always up for a good cuddle or a leisurely walk around the block. I'm an adult, but don't let that fool you, I've got plenty of energy and love to play. I'm easygoing and I get along well with everyone I meet. I'm ready to find my forever home and bring a whole lot of joy and companionship. Adopting me means endless tail wags, lots of love, and a friend for life. I'm 5 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested negative, on heartworm prevention and microchipped, my adoption donation is $50. If you would be interested in adopting please visit us at 4 Commercial Ave Washington Court House Ohio. Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 2pm.These are abandoned street animals or unplanned litters, some of older age, and many with a shy temperament. Their prior history is sometimes unknown. We make every effort to check the basic health and personality of each animal.CAT:Every adoptable cat is currently vaccinated (FVRCPP), vaccinated for rabies (if 16 weeks or older), spayed/neutered, treated for worms, treated for fleas, micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).DOG:Each adoptable dog/puppy is currently vaccinated (DHPP), vaccinated for rabies (if older than 16 weeks), treated for worms, treated for fleas, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm (if over 6 months of age), micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).Upon adoption you will be given a health record to take to your veterinarian. These fees are subject to fluctuation, if deemed necessary, depending on season, amount of adoptable animals in our program, and/or breed of animal. The adoption fees help us recover a small portion of the money that we spend on these animals. Thank you so much for your interest in a shelter pet!!!

This chill and friendly girl adores giving kisses to everyone—dogs, cats, and humans alike. Her favorite hobby is snuggling on the couch with a blanket while watching movies. Story
**Meet Raven** *Female, Yorkie/Cairn Terrier Mix, 7 years old, approximately 20 pounds* Raven came into rescue after a rural high-intake shelter reached out for help. This sweet girl and her siblings needed a safe haven, and now Raven is ready to find her forever home. Though she is shy at first, Raven is incredibly loving and enjoys cuddling up next to her favorite person. Her tail wags happily when she gets attention, and her favorite spot is on the couch with a soft blanket. Raven gets along well with the resident dogs in her foster home, ranging from 20 to 60 pounds, but she values her crate as her safe space and prefers the other dogs give her space when she’s in it. Outside of the crate, she’s perfectly content to coexist and simply ignores them. She is working on leash and potty training and does well in her crate. With patience and love, Raven will continue to thrive and blossom in her new home. Raven is a sweet and affectionate girl who has been through a lot after losing the only home she had known for seven years. She’s ready to find a calm and loving forever family where she can finally relax and be adored. Raven is fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her adoption fee is $300.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Meet Mia! Mia is a beautiful 6-year-old, 12lb Yorkie/Silky Terrier puppy mill rescue! Mia is gentle and sweet, loves sharing time with her foster mom and foster canine siblings! Mia loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch with her family and enjoying a nap! Her superpowers include loving the comforts of her home and spending time with her foster canine siblings. Being a puppy mill rescue, Mia is just learning to potty outside with the guidance of her foster siblings. Mia would benefit from having another dog to follow and continue to progress with her potty training. Mia has had no previous leash training, so we’re working on getting her more comfortable walking on a leash. Some of her favorite things are treats, especially a little cottage cheese and her nightly dental bone. If you’re looking for a calm, loving girl who gets along great with other dogs, Mia might be your perfect match! Mia is being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $450.00.
