Meet Millie! 🐾 Millie is a sweet senior Yorkie mix with a happy, affectionate personality. She loves snuggling, especially when wrapped in a cozy blanket, and enjoys following you around the house before settling quietly in her crate or dog bed. Millie thrives in calm environments and gets along well with relaxed dogs who give her space. Her vision seems a little reduced, so she may run into things occasionally—extra care around stairs is important. Millie is a picky eater and only eats wet food, but when she finds one she likes, she’s a great little eater. She isn’t interested in toys but loves attention and cuddles. She’s house trained and will go potty immediately when carried outside. Millie enjoys calming music in her crate and tends to be wary of loud noises, squeaky toys, and young children, and she would probably ignore cats. Despite her sensitivities, she is incredibly friendly and will happily soak up affection from her people. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog.
