Story
Nala is a great girl who knows who and what she likes. She is approx 4-5 years old and 6 lbs. She had the biggest bladder stone removed we have ever seen. A visit to the vet showed she had new stones. We have changed her diet and will monitor. She is a typical Yorkie. Stomps her feet and demands you wait on her. She is crate trained and will use a puppy pad if she can find it. She also goes to the door to go out with the other fosters. She will sleep right next to you. In order to find her a home, the rescue is willing to continue her care for the stones. The adopter would be responsible for the rest. Please reach out if you want to discuss her. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Application: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app

Story
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm! Meet Luciana, a sweet seven-year-old, 10lb Yorkie who has been rescued from a puppy mill where she spent years being bred. Despite her tough past, Luciana is starting to come out of her shell and is making progress each day in her foster home. She's still a bit shy and will need a patient adopter to help her adjust to her new life. Luciana does well with other dogs but can be a little nervous when being picked up to sit on your lap or a pillow. She'll need some help with leash work and potty training, but with time, patience, and love, Luciana will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. If you're looking for a gentle, quiet dog who just needs a chance to shine, Luciana could be the perfect fit for your home. Luciana is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm! Meet Claus! Claus is a part of the Christmas litter along with his siblings Joel, Holly, Angel, and Gloria. They are a lively group of 3-month-old Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua mixes! These pups are spunky and active! Expected to be small dogs when fully grown, they are a surprisingly quiet bunch. While in foster care, the only time they have barked is outside when startled by a person or animal. They have been around dogs, men, women, and children, and have done well with all of them. At just 5 pounds, Claus is the smallest male of the litter. He is the most people oriented and makes sure that he's first in line to get your attention. This boy is confident and sure of himself! He also loves to be held and give kisses. Overall, Claus is just adorable! If you think that you are the right person or family to give Claus the forever home he deserves, apply today. He would be a wonderful addition to any household. Claus is currently being fostered in Cincinnati. His adoption fee is $400. Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm! Meet Noel. Noel is a handsome puppy from the Christmas litter, along with his brother, Claus and sisters, Holly, Angel, and Gloria. The Christmas litter is a lively group of 3.5-month-old Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua mixes. They are spunky and active. They are likely to be small dogs when fully grown. They are a surprisingly quiet litter. While in foster care, the only time they have barked is outside when startled by a person or animal. They have been around dogs, men, women, and children, and have done well with all of them. If you have small children, extra supervision may be necessary for a while until they get past their nipping phase of puppyhood. As a litter, they are high energy and compete for their foster mom's attention. But individually they are all very different, and a great deal calmer when not with their siblings. At almost 9 pounds, Noel is the largest of the litter. He is confident and independent. He sees himself as the leader, but they all don't agree with them on that. Noel has beautiful shiny black hair, with brown highlighting the rest of his features. He's a handsome lile guy. But, more important, he is very sweet and likes to be with his people. If you think that you are the right person/family to give Noel the forever home he deserves, apply today. He would be a wonderful addition to most families. Noel is fostered in Cincinnati. His adoption fee is $400.00.
