Charlie has not had a good life. He has been bounced around in and out of the shelter in Md. and never cared for very well. He is 10 yrs old, neutered. vaccinated. and microchipped. and had a dental . Dog friendly. Charlie doesn't have many teeth. He is sweet and loveable . no apartments or electric fences. He needs someone home to love him He doesn't need a pal but he needs you. He is a really good boy. Can be stubborn sometimes but that is all part of his charm. when he isn't ready to go home from a walk he plants himself and lets you know so i just scoop him up and home we go. He prefers a calm home so best no little kids., older kids are ok esp if they cuddle with him. He is house trained . He is a social little guy who seems to do well with all animals and people. He has not been kid-tested yet but would likely be fine with dog-savvy children. Due to his small size, slightly older children who can safely handle a tiny guy like him would be best. Ace is a very spoiled lovable boy. We’ve had him for 8 years and unfortunately we need to find him another home because I recently had a baby and also work from home and cannot handle them all. Ace is very gentle and a great listener he does require frequent bathroom breaks so ideally someone who can be home with him. He’s not a runner. He will always come back home. I usually just open the door and he comes back right now. I don’t feel like him provide the best life for him, which is why we are with a rehoming he is also getting older and has less control over his bowels and with a crawler in my home I have a serious concern for cleanliness and safety of the infant.
