Story
Looking for a loving home for my almost 12 year old yorkie. Unfortunately, she has gotten more aggressive with old age and it is no longer safe to have her around my other animals and my now 7-month old. It pains me to write this, but she deserves the best and that is no longer with me. Coco is a full-bred yorkie, born February 16, 2014. She does have severe anxiety and is on a prozac prescription that she takes once a day, along with an incontinence medication. She eats prescription kibble due to a history of bladder stones. She is not good with other dogs because her vision is getting worse, and she will attack. That goes for small children as well, as she has bitten a child before. She can be very territorial indoors with other animals and tends to like women more than men. She does great on a leash, and is a very loving girl despite her age-related aggression associated with vision loss. She would be a great only dog and will love you with all she's got!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › This sweet pup, along with 13 others, was rescued from a backyard breeder and brought to Pawfect Match after enduring truly heartbreaking conditions. They had been living outdoors on dirt floors, exposed to the elements, and forced to fend for themselves. Tilly is heartworm positive Despite their difficult past, they are friendly with other dogs, having been surrounded by many. They’re also affectionate with people, though they’ve never known the comfort of a real home. These dogs will need patient, understanding adopters who can gently teach them what it means to be part of a family. They are still learning the basics—potty training, walking on a leash, and building confidence through socialization. With love and guidance, they have the potential to thrive and become wonderful companions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 6, 2025, 1:20 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Terri (info@rainbowbridgerescue.org) for more information about this pet. Tyson Needs a Hospice Foster Home — RDU Area Tyson is a 17-year-old, 9-lb Yorkie mix who has come to Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue at a time when he needs comfort, stability, and love more than anything else. He is now seeking a hospice foster home in the RDU area—a quiet, compassionate place where he can spend his time surrounded by kindness and care. A hospice foster home is not about saying goodbye—it’s about giving a dog dignity, peace, and love for however much time they have. Tyson doesn’t need perfection; he needs someone willing to open their heart and home, provide a soft place to rest, and let him know he is not alone. Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue covers medical care and provides ongoing support. All we ask is that a foster offers patience, comfort, and love. If you’ve ever thought about fostering but worried you couldn’t handle a long-term commitment, hospice fostering can be one of the most meaningful experiences there is. Tyson deserves to feel safe and cherished—and you could be the reason he does. Location needed: RDU area Type: Hospice foster Foster Application: https://rainbowbridgerescue.org/applications/ If you can help Tyson, even temporarily, please reach out or submit a foster application. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give is simply being there. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 11, 2026, 2:04 pm
