Story
We adopted Lelo when she was 8 weeks old. Her birthday 1/19/20. My husband past 2 yrs ago she was very close to him. She's great with older Grandkids. Very picky with food. She has run of the house and sleeps with me at night. She's aloud to go on furniture. Does not shed. Does not like riding in car. I would love to see her with another small dog for companionship. She loves her blankets. I'm now having health issues and she's home alone more than usual.

Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs on to their new adopting families leaving in March 2025 from Southern California where we are located to the East Coast. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Freya to our trip for the right home 💕 As always, for peace of mind for our adopting families we never ask for ANYTHING up front. Adoption fee/travel costs are always due when we arrive in person with Freya in hand ❤️ Meet Freya! She is a purebred yorkie. Yes, she has a docked tail. She turned 1 on 10/8/24. She weighs 7 1/2 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and had a wonderful exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own. She is house trained, and will go outside to use the restroom as needed throughout the day. She is always accompanied due to the wildlife we have here, so we have a set schedule throughout the day for her, but when we ask her if she needs to potty, she will either follow us outside, or stay back telling us she doesn't need to go. She is very smart, so as long as you are communicative with her you won't have any issues with her continued success in house training. She has been introduced to a crate, but it is not her favorite place whatsoever. If you have another dog at home that can bunk in the crate with her, that works much better for Freya as she thrives off having companionship to feel safe and secure. We have attempted to secure an area for her in a much more open space with her dog bed, but she truly doesn't like being confined if she doesn't have to be and has learned to cry her way out of anything she doesn't like 😅 Freya is extremely well behaved in the home, so it's been easy to accommodate her dislike of crates, or confined areas. She is very Velcro, and loves to be around her humans. She will thrive being in a home where she can be near you, if not in your lap. If you are looking for a little one that will literally adore you every second of every day then Freya is definitely your girl!! She isleash trained, and loves her walks. She would make an amazing walking buddy, and will greet everyone she meets with love always ❤️ She is wonderful with dogs, and cats alike. She is a very sweet, and very submissive girl. She is NOT a barker at all. The only time she communicates with you is when she doesn't like something and will whine, or cry instead of bark. She LOVES everyone she meets. Men, women, and children alike. She is amazing at the groomers, and really enjoys her spa days. The dryer isn't her favorite, but she toughs it out with a little encouragement. She also loves road trips, so if you want a little one that can travel everywhere with you, she would love that just as much as you would! She is not anxious by any means, she just really loves to be close to those she loves. She loves being carried, and will choose her person over anyone, or any dog any time of the day. She is one of the sweetest little ones you'll ever meet, and will make an exceptional companion to someone, so if that's you then come give our girl the home and life she deserves!! Her prior owners had to move into a smaller rental, where only one pet was allowed. They had a senior dog that they couldn't part with, so decided to reach out to us to take her in and find her a great new home so here we are doing just that! Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/freya It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, exam with our vet, the care involved in the time she has been with us, her grooming costs, and her training we have personally done with her.
