This is Buddy. He came to us from a high intake shelter in the region because we knew he’d have a far better shot of finding a home through our wonderful network of senior dog lovers. He was surrendered because his owner was ill. Buddy is a 14-year-old silky Yorkshire Terrier who weighs 13 lbs. Buddy is a low-key, easy little guy. He sleeps a lot, so he’d appreciate a nice comfy place to lay his head. Buddy enjoys getting out for short walks so he can put his little sniffer to work. Buddy just had a dental cleaning and a grooming and is now all ready for a new forever home. He’s open to meeting other dogs and can be cat-tested if needed. Lewie is a sweet boy that was surrendered to us because the owner claimed to have allergies. He is about a year and a half old and weighs about 17 lbs. Lewie is a little shy at first but then just wants to be loved. He is neutered, UTD on required vaccines, HW tested negative and microchipped. He does seem to be housetrained. He is also a little shy around other dogs but would slowly warm up. He is not aggressive in any way but he is a little afraid at first. He just needs a safe secure loving home and family. Because of his initial shyness we will be looking for a home with no small children. This darling boy is called Lil Deuce Coup and he's a lively boy that is currently being tormented by a 3 year old child. HD us 8 years old and a Yorkie mix weighing 9 pounds. Getting groomed this week and a full vet visit with bloodwork done and microchipped. This guy has kept his cool since the baby was born but enough us enough. At one time he was potty trained but currently he is not. You know the story. Baby comes later after dog was raised as their 'baby' and then potty training goes out the window. This is reversible and we have tips to change it. Lil Coup deserves a long life of peace and tranquility! Can you give test to him? A good Samaritan rescued her but was unable to keep her due to her own health issues and contacted Save A Yorkie. Charlotte was very timid and startled easily when she first came to us, but with lots of love and stability has come out of her shell. She is a fun, feisty companion who loves to be outdoors, enjoys playing with her toys, our other dogs, running and exploring our backyard. She is well behaved for a two-year-old but would benefit from professional training. She loves her person and has a protective streak. She would do well in a home where she receives a lot of time and attention. She will follow you everywhere. Daily exercise is an absolute must for her to release some of her energy. Car rides are not a favorite, she does best when crated for the ride. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She will require a yard with a 6 foot fence. Dupris is part of a bonded pair of Yorkies and will have to be adopted with his brother Deno. He is 6 years old and weighs 9 lbs. The adoption fee for both dogs is $800.00. Dupris and Deno came to us on Saturday the day after Ruff left. It is a treat for us to have a bonded pair and to watch them play and cavort together. Deno is the more outgoing of the two and he laps up attention and loves to lick faces. Dupris is less sure of novelty but has adjusted well and appears quite at home on our chaise lounge. They were surrendered because of illnesses in their family and had been home alone for a while before they came to us so they were a bit rambunctious at first. In the beginning, I kept them crated when I went out but the past few days I have left them without crating them and they have behaved very well and greeted me warmly when I got home. They have their vet appointments scheduled for next week and their neuter scheduled for November 12th.
