Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process. Location: Troy, MO Michael or MJ is a confident and playful puppy! Michael loves to run and play and his favorite game is keep away! He likes to snatch up a toy and have the other foster puppies chase after him! The shyer puppies in the group seem to look to him as an example. He would enjoy having children or a young dog to play with. Michael is also very sweet and when he calms down he likes cuddles. He is treat motivated and seeks to please. Michael Jordan's adoption is $500. He is current on age appropriate vaccines, and has started his monthly heart worm prevention. Due to his young age he has not been neutered (we neuter at 6 months). We will reimburse $200 of the neuter when he is old enough. A neuter contract will be required. Visit leiashope.org for next steps. PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing. All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application. We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet. Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
