Have we got a great little dog for someone her name is Zoey. She is absolutely a great little dog. She loves to cuddle. She loves to play with her toys. The foster family says she is a little jewel. She gets along with other little dogs and we assume she would be well with children. Also, she doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in her, but she is a joy to her foster family, she has been totally vetted and she has been tested for heartworm which she tested negative. This sweet little girl needs a wonderful loving family. Will you be that family? Please don’t wait too long on her because little girls like this. Bastille is a very young 7 month old Yorkie/Schnauzer mix pup that is only 11 pounds and destined to be the love of your life. When he is fully grown he should be a little under 20 pounds and just the right size for all sorts of fun adventures to do together in life. He is very even tempered and a sweet little guy that really does well with other dogs. We have not tried him with cats but since he is such a young pup we are sure he could accept and befriend them for life. He has the perfect demeanor to be great with everyone and every creature he meets. When he first came to the rescue foster home, he didn't know what a leash was and we made him learn on a daily basis. He is getting better at it with each session. He would not do good in an apartment as he really doesn't like to be crated and will cry to get out. He will learn the crate but in the meantime an apartment dweller might have some angry and complaining neighbors. Bastille loves to snuggle, give kisses and be your best friend. He needs a fenced area to run in because he is not a fulltime couch potato but an active little guy that loves to get his zoomies out. He loves to play with other dogs and we are looking for that kind of opportunity as well. Whomever adopts him in going to have lots of fun with him. If you work from home we are totally all for that. We would like the adopters to be home most of the time to get that one on one time.He is still a puppy so not completely house trained but is crate trained. Lots of potential for this boy. We want a family with children over 7 years of age and who know how to be gentle with a small dog. So much potential with this boy to bring joy and love your way. Hi my name is Riley. I am a beautiful little 6 year old, 10 lb Biewer Terrier. I was surrendered to Critter Cavalry when a middle Tennessee breeder decided to stop breeding me. How our immediate family ended up with a breeder in Tennessee, who knows. Any way I am no longer a working girl and ready to enjoy life as a pet. I am sweet, loving and playful. I am having the best time learning to be a pet. I enjoy running around inside the house. Zoomies are one of my favorite things. I also like to take in all the smells outside and lay in the sun for a few minutes. I love my foster mom and want to be in her lap whenever she sits down. I get along great with the other dogs in my foster home and I am also good with cats. I love to play and would really like a forever home with another small dog for company and to play with. I am very social and not an only dog girl. I am also housebroken, crate trained and I walk OK on a leash. Please read ADOPTION INFO on the left side of our website to learn about the adoption application process. Lillian comes to us from southern WV. Her previous guardian passed away. Lillian's just ready for a relaxed, quiet, comfortable home, like she's ready for a retirement community!!! We think she's around 6 years old, but could be younger or older...it's hard to tell. She might be 5 and have lived a hard life thus far. We're just not sure of her actual age. Lillian would do best in a home with another small breed canine sibling, as she loves to cuddle with other dogs. She does fine with other dogs, but we're not sure if she's cat friendly. We recommend no small children, as she's an older gal who wants quiet and limited activities. She's fine with kids older than 10. She's cautious around new people. She's not so much a runner, but could be difficult to catch if she got away. Lillian is super sweet, loves to lick her human's hand, and is a very nice girl. She's working on her house training skills, so be prepared to continue her path to being fully house trained. She's not totally comfortable on a leash, so that will also be part of her continuing education! She'll require a fully fenced, secure yard. No electric fencing, no underground fencing, and no doggy door. These are not negotiable topics. He was surrendered through no fault of his own and has been very comfortable with his new fosters! Marcus does great with people and other dogs.
