Meet Hendrix, a 2 year old, 22 lb Yorkie with a big personality wrapped in a calm, confident package. Hendrix is an easygoing guy who knows how to enjoy life at his own pace. He’s friendly with other dogs and carries himself with a relaxed independence - he’s affectionate, but not a velcro dog who needs to be glued to your side. Hendrix does great with cats too, though he can be a little quirky about sharing the bed with them (boundaries matter!). He has no food or toy aggression and is happy to enjoy his things peacefully. One of his favorite moments of the day is leash time - just the sight of it gets his tail going because he genuinely loves heading out for walks and exploring the world. He’s crate trained, well-mannered, and a champion bone chewer who can happily entertain himself. Hendrix is also a fantastic travel buddy, staying calm and comfortable in the car. Overall, he’s a well-balanced, low-drama companion who fits right into a relaxed, loving home. Meet Sophia Belle, a tiny, 5-pound, Yorkie sweetheart who is all about snuggles, softness, and staying close to her people. At just 2 years old, she has a calm, relaxed vibe and would love nothing more than to curl up in your lap or beside you on the couch for a cozy nap. Sophia Belle walks nicely on a leash (or very close to it), is crate trained, and does well when left alone, making her a lovely little companion for someone who wants a low-key best friend. This dainty girl is friendly with men, women, older kids, and small dogs, and she simply needs a little time to warm up when meeting new people, which is typical for many Yorkies and other small breeds. Once she feels safe, her playful side comes out - she loves squeaky toys, will happily run and fetch, and then settle right back in for cuddles. Because she is so tiny, she will do best in an adult home or one with teens and up, where everyone understands how to handle a small dog gently and safely. Sophia Belle is scheduled for her spay and dental on 12/23 and will be ready for her forever home once she has healed and her vetting is complete. She is still working on potty training and is not yet housebroken, so her new family will need to be patient, consistent, and able to take her out every 1.5–2 hours to help her succeed and continue her progress. With a calm home, gentle humans, and a bit of structure, Sophia Belle will blossom into an incredibly loving little shadow for a very lucky adopter.
