Micah born 7/25/24. He is so adorable and friendly. He gets along great with everyone! There are no known health issues. He just became too old to be sold retail. He will need work on housetraining. Located in boarding in the midwest. Adoption fee is 950.00 and includes transport to the the NE or SE. You pay adoption fee when you pick up. Thank you for choosing rescue! She weighs just 12lbs, and is the ultimate companion - she is both sweet and social! Due to her age, Kylee doesn&#39t have great vision or hearing, but she doesn&#39t let that slow her down. She is healthy otherwise, but only has 1 tooth left, so she requires soft dog food for her meals. When she&#39s not heading out for a stroll (her favorite activity!), Kylee spends most of her day snoozing and would love a comfortable lap or sofa to spend the rest of her days on! Shyla is an adorable 7year old little girl!. She's cute as a button and so very sweet! She is crate-trained and listens well. She is pretty quiet although once or twice a day she mixes it up with one of my dogs and has a good little play session for herself. She loves to eat so no problems with a picky eater. Unfortunately she is not housebroken. She does manage to hit the pee pads most of the time however. She does have a few health issues. She has calcification in her eyes which impair her vision a bit but I've really never noticed an issue. She is on medication for this. She is a bit arthritic and requires daily medication to be comfortable. I've seen an enormous difference in her since she's been on it. She also had surgery for a tumor on her tummy and ended up having a whole mammary chain removed due to cancer. It's hoped that this took care of it but, of course, she should be monitored. She is such a love and will be a delight to have in your home! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Yes I was a holy mess, but at one time I must have been beautiful, because once I was groomed I look like a princess. I had a micro-chip, but whoever owned me let me get like this, or I was out on my own for some time. The mats were so tight all over I could hardly walk. In addition to being a holy mess, I had tumors the size of golf balls and baseballs on my body. My rescue family took care of all my medical issues and now I'm ready for my forever home. I'm so affectionate, and active. I'd love a family with older children (over 12) because I'm only about 8-10lbs. I must have a fenced yard...NON NEGOTIABLE. It doesn't have to be acreage, but large enough so I can romp around a bit. I've got a strong personality so I would be best as an only dog. I've not had any problems at rescue, but during some trials I've behaved like a bully. The shelter had my age as 11, but I act like I'm 7 or 8. If your looking for a sweet Yorkie, I'm your girl!

My fiance got Oreo a few years ago from someone selling dogs in Atlanta. Oreo is now 5 years old, and I looking for a new home where he can get the time, attention, and care he deserves. With a baby on the way, it's been challenging to focus on Oreo's obedience struggles. My fiance and I have differing views on discipline, and I truly want Oreo to be in a loving home where he can thrive and reach his full potential as the amazing dog I know he is. Oreo is energetic, smart, loyal, and incredibly loving. He is great with other pets; cats and dogs, and he absolutely adores children. While he does need training and someone patient to work with him, he is also a sweet and lovable companion who just wants to be part of a caring family. My hope is to find him a home where he will not only be trained but also deeply loved and appreciated. He's my best bud and I'm really sad to give him up, but I want him to be appreciated and loved in the best way.
