Lil is a great lap dog that just wants attention and love. She’s not fussy easy-going and have a lot of energy. She is older. She’s 12 years old. She’s blind in one eye and heart of hearing, but she still hears. She’s the sweetest thing.

Story
Hi, I'm Bernice! I'm an adorable 9-month-old, 13-pound Yorki-Poo with an easygoing style.  I love my people and shower them with affection.  I’m a smart cookie, too – curious and quick to understand what you’re asking me to do (and not do!). Favorite Things: Most of all, Bernice loves her people and tends to follow them from room to room - just to help with the laundry of course!  She loves chew toys as well, along with the occasional flip-flop if she has the chance.   This little cutie enjoys her food and is food-motivated, which makes training a breeze.  Sniffing around in the yard or on leash walks is another favorite past-time. Training & Manners: Bernice is quick to pick up on commands and already has good recall.  She is house-trained if let out frequently, loves car rides, and walks well on a leash.  She can sleep in the people bed or in a dog bed at night. Health & Care: Bernice is spayed, chipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on her vaccinations. She'll just need her monthly flea and heart preventatives, like any dog. As a Yorki-Poo blend, she’ll need regular professional grooming to look and feel her best.  Other Animals: Bernice has experience with small dogs in her foster home and gets along well with them.  She hasn’t had experience with cats, but her foster mom thinks she’d be fine with them. Children: Bernice has not had experience with children in her foster home. Ideal Home: This little sweetheart isn’t picky and would be happy in a loving home whether it’s an apartment, condo, townhouse or single-family residence. She can be left alone in a secure space for several hours and will greet you with a happy wiggle-butt when you return. Overall: Bernice is a treasure with a big heart and simple needs.
