Name: Benji Nicknames: Buddy. Little Guy. Jumper. Gremlin. Sex: Male Breed: Yorkie mix Weight: 14 lbs. Age: ~2.5 years Before OMD: Found as a stray, roaming with a female Pug. No one came for him during his stray hold at the city shelter, so he (and his Pug friend!) joined the OMD family. Energy level: Moderate. Loves to play and go for walks, but isn't the bouncing-off-the-walls type. What we love most: When he rolls over on his back as he sees you coming over for pets. How excited he gets when he sees you getting his leash. How even more excited he gets as he sees you coming in the room - he even smiles! How snuggly he is. What he loves most: Being with his people. Going for walks. Chasing, and just generally hanging out with, his tiny tennis balls. Playing in the yard. Nylabones. Snuggling up in his bed. Working on: Keeping 4 on the floor when excited. Aspires to be: An olympic hurdler Kids: Yes, but should be dog-savvy kiddos since Benji is still working on his jumping Dogs: Sure! He does bark at new dogs initially, but has successfully lived with dogs while in foster. Cats: Yep. House-trained: Yes! Crate-trained: Yes again! Benji is neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He is available for adoption to residents of CT and surrounding states. Story

Marvelous Mollie is such a gentle and playful little girl. She was one of 42 surrendered to various rescues from a retiring backyard breeder. She has lived the majority of her life in an outside pen with multiple other dogs. She hoped the larger dogs left her food. She is still skittish but comes up for love and affection when I sit or lie down. She has done wonderfully with her house training as she is taken out on at regular intervals. She is not leash trained yet as she is just getting used to wearing a collar. She will require a fenced area until she learns the leash. She is completely vetted and microchipped. Mollie had beautiful long white hair like a silky, but unfortunately, she was so matted in areas that she had to be shaved. This sweet girl is fostered in E. TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal friendly transport on the road. Please email us for an adoption application.

Mason is calm for his age, very friendly, and gentle. He seems to be housebroken and doesn’t make much noise, making him the perfect companion for a peaceful home. His adoption fee is $400, which includes his neuter, vaccines, preventatives, and microchip. Mason is currently located in Texas but can be transported to several cities across the U.S., including Washington, Portland (OR), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (KY), or along the East Coast. An additional transport fee of $225 applies. Unfortunately, we cannot transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
