Meet Tyson! This sweet old man is ready to leave the hustle and bustle of a busy rescue, and find peace and comfort in a home of his own. We rescued Tyson from a high kill shelter, where he was on the euthanasia list, simply due to his age. Luckily for Tyson, we stepped in and helped to give him a second chance at life! Tyson gets along well with other dogs, though he prefers calmer dogs, since he is in his calmer years. Even though he is a bit older, Tyson still gets bouts of energy and wants to run and play for short periods of time; his favorite playtime activity is soaking and lounging in a shallow pool, where he can cool down on a warm day. We aren't sure what Tyson went through before he wound up in the system, but we know that he may have had some unpleasant experiences, since he can get spooked if you grab for him without him clearly seeing it. Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners.
